I will watching anything with Wingfield in it, including that movie directed by Michael Landon Jr. It was pretty good actually. Wingfield was awesome, as always.

See, I loved the original movie. I disagreed with those of my friends who claimed that the second movie contradicted the first movie. I can't remember much about the third movie, but the TV series was great (as long as you assumed that the first movie took place _after_ the series). And then they had to go and spoil it all with the fourth movie. _That_ contradicted the first movie, because Duncan (having been around for centuries just like Connor) would have to have already been dead by the time the first movie takes place.

I think its funny highlander 2 was so bad they released an edited version with the space alien plotline eliminated. I'd like to see someone try and connect the timelines of these movies like they do with zelda. As far as im concerned both series just take liberty with their franchises and do whatever they want. No continuity just lots of fanservice.

I practically love everything Highlander, though the animated series makes me shiver. I can let the fact that Connor and Duncan are so similar go, but really. I'm a huge Highlander nerd, but I have to agree. Another MacLeod is just silly. Like a lot of folks, I agree that a Methos game has a lot of potential. I mean, the guy has been alive so long, even he doesn't know exactly how long.

Also, like a most fans and the franchise holders themselves, I pretend like Highlander 2 never happened. HORRIBLE.

I dunno, I kinda liked the cyberpunkish sequel (I don't remember if it was 2 or 3) where MacLeod was on his way to dying of old age (in terrible makeup) when his planetary comrades once again invade the planet, reigniting the tournament. It's kinda weird that this never became a fighting game franchise.

But yeah, if this is a next-gen game, it's kinda ugly so far. Spoiled by COD and Gears. :(

I wish them luck with this. Its a cool story concept that a lot of people enjoy but translating it into a game doesn't seem feasible.

After watching Highlander about 50 times I doubt anyone could actually meet my expectations though.

The only way I see a Highlander game being any good is if it were just kinda sorta based on the concept, and you were actually immortal. So that if you take a bunch of (non-decapitation) wounds then you get knocked unconscious and either wake up in a field somewhere the next day or getting ready to be buried.

I don't mean to be an a**hole, but there's some mistakes in the Kotaku story on this.

The first is grammatical and it happens in the first sentence. It should state "How many freaking MacLeods are THERE?" instead of "How many freaking MacLeods are their?"

Secondly, the end of the trailer shows the game for PS3 and not for PS2 like the Kotaku story says. You're better than Gizmodo, guys. Come on. (Or ban me, whichever you think is more appropriate)
