That's a pretty solid week, I think. No A-List titles, but a bunch of good games nevertheless.

FlatOut: Head On:
I had no idea this was coming to the PSP. I hope the physics stuff holds up compared to the 360. Definitely on my "have a look" list.

Samurai Warriors: Katana (WII), Furu Furu Park (WII):
Sure, minigames, but these actually look reasonably fun. Will check out.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Hard Evidence (WII):
This is a point-and-click Adventure from Telltale (of Sam and Max fame), right? Could be better than the name and reviews suggest. Might buy.

Nanostray 2
Must have for shooter fans.

Nitrobike (WII)
Looks crappy, could be fun. Probably not, though.

Corvette Evolution GT (DS)
Finally a non-crappy racer for the DS? Nah. Can't be.

Nitrobike is by the Excitebike64 team and so by default, is the best game released this week.

People really need to read about games a bit before deciding what's meh and what isn't. It's like some of you refuse to believe a game that isn't advertised and over-hyped could be fantastic.

Really, the blind bashing and fangaying is way too much these days.

@TheIrishNinja (PSN), IrishNinja2099 (XBL): Finally sent it in for repairs. FedEx says it delivered the unit on the tenth. Nintendo hasn't updated its site yet to say if it's in or not, but it did say there'd be a delay of 1-2 days, and the second day wasn't a business day.

Anyway, it should be back here by next Wednesday. It was stupid of me to wait to send it in until right before I needed it, but that's just the kind of lazy I'm a part of.

I know it's "epic lulz" to make a joke about a Wii game being a collection of short,arcadelike games,but if you actually click on the link,Furu Furu Park contains a mini game about SONIC BLAST MAN. His SNES beat em ups were cool,his name is the best name ever,and his arcade game is so bad ass that it breaks your hands in real life when you play it. Not to mention,there's lots of other cool-looking stuff in that game. I'll probably buy it this week. You guys know you can occasionally play a non-FPS game,right?

I just finished watching the video on the Nanostray 2 website.

That's a purchase for sure. The arcade games you can unlock look more fun than some full length DS realeases. Plus the main game and challenge modes look pretty intense.

Next week, Advance Wars...my DS is going to get some lovin' for a couple of months for sure.

No... January is extremely dry this month. Worse than usual. All we're getting this month is Burnout Paradise (next week), and No More Heroes (week after that), there's also Bomberman Land same week as No More Heroes if you're into that. But February, it's freakin' amazing. There's about as much interesting stuff coming out in February as there was coming out in October 2007. Not as much as November though, nothing's ever gonna beat that month.
