		    <description><![CDATA[<p>Quick tip for those of you using Tempest. Around his body he has a shield that  turns bullets green and slows them down. While they're in this state a quick flick of the right stick in any direction will send those bullets in that direction.</p>
<p>Tempest is slower but he has an incredibly cheesy move that makes him near invincible against bullets.</p> <p>Denzal</p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>The first three times I played this game, I couldn't get past the first stage.  Then I was stuck at the second stage until I got the extra 2 credits.  It took that long for me to figure out how to reflect enemy shots with Tempest.</p>
<p>Then me and my roommate beat it on multiplayer using only one credit each.  I've gotta say, it is really easy playing with two people.  I sorta wish they bumped up the difficulty in the multiplayer mode.</p> <p><a href="http://">Kamiro</a></p>]]></description>

<p>if i remember correctly when you're using Ruby you pull the right trigger? and it sends out her claw/tether. I just got the achievement for holding onto an enemy finally.</p>
<p>Out of the first two characters Ruby is my favorite because shes simple to use. With the 4 armed guy i have no clue how to play him. His attack with the right trigger is weird, and he just seems daunting at first.</p>

There may be ways to get extra, haven't found them in the first 2 levels so far.</p>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>It's safe to say that people like the live experience for lack of story and cut scenes; it's supposed to be pure gameplay.  I sure I can complain about the like of the election coverage on Kotaku but I don't come here for that and I'm sure the owners of Kotaku would agree this isn't the place for that sorta stuff.  It's called focus. As the article wasn't being overly critical or scathing with its dissapointment, I still feel it's weird to bring up.  If a story was what the creators wanted to focus on, they wouldn't have made it a pick-up-and-play arcade game but rather a full retail release and I'm not sure people would like that at even $40. 		    <description><![CDATA[<p>@<a href="#c3628673">josh924</a>: Nice to hear Hudson nailed the balance.  One of things that turned me off of shooters in the late '90s was that they had all become these orgies of bullets that were seemingly impossible to beat without unlimited credits.</p>
<p>For my money, Lords of Thunder was the most well balanced shooter ever made.  Just difficult enough to keep the tension high on every play through, but never to the point where you start to wonder exactly what "hardcore" audience they're catering to.</p> <p>Nightshift_Nurse</p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>Am i the only one who cant stand the term "shmup"? It sounds like everyones turned yiddish calling each other a "shmuck".</p>
<p>Anyways, the first 10 minutes i died pretty quick, but i just got past the first stage and almost the second with ruby without using a continue. If i remembered i had bombs to use, i probably could have gotten past the second stage as well.</p>
<p>But getting that achievement for holding onto an enemy for 10 seconds seems more difficult than it should be as i'v held countless enemies for what seems like more than 10 seconds and i havnt gotten it yet.</p>
<p>My only complaint is they don't really explain the controls to well as im just kind of guessing what everything does. I still don't know what the hell im doing when i use the right and left bumpers.</p> <p><a href="http://www.myspace.com/juansebastiann">ArmyofJuan</a></p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>Ok, I wasn't really affected up till now by the Xbox Live problems (had been out of town and playing Wii/DS mostly since the 23rd or so), but I can't even get into the XBLM to download this game, and now I'm starting to get pissed. 		    <description><![CDATA[<p>From what I've played of the game, I think it's fantastic. I already bought it. This game isn't even 50MB, so all of those people complaining about file sizes can wonder what can be done with 3 times as much space.</p>
<p>If you think about old school games, many of them didn't HAVE a story line, or one or two lines at the most. It's just an excuse fore the gameplay. As long as the game is fun, I don't always need a story to nitpick. Maybe because I wasn't expecting a story, I'm satisfied.</p>
<p>I only hope enough people buy these games to let developers know ther is a market for this stuff.</p> <p>peacefuloutrage</p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>As far as shmups go O5 is pretty forgiving. You actually get a health bar and there's health refills in certain points of the levels and the enemies follow a completely linear path so if you memorize their locations and how to deal with them it will hold you in good stead. You also have the ability to dodge bullets but it takes a small portion of your life. I'm not sure if it's preferable to actually getting hit but I assume so.</p> <p>Denzal</p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<p>It's really not that hard. Especially compared to its brethren. In fact, I'd call it one of the easiest shooters in a while. I'd played for maybe 30 minutes before getting to the last stage without dying. The last stage IS hard but you get 5 credits after playing for an hour so that really softens how hard it is.</p>
<p>It's a wonderful game though. I had fun being number 4 on the leaderboards for all of 5 minutes when it first appeared.</p> <p>EggmaniMN</p>]]></description>

		    <description><![CDATA[<P>I watched the video up on gamerscore and downloaded the trial. I do love the fact that they admit that the game is hard, so hard that only one guy on the development team has actually survived long enough to actually finish the game. I don't doubt that it's a pretty game, but seeing as how I couldn't last more than three minutes in the game without dying, and i'm not holding out much hope that I would actually finish, i'll stick with the trial version.</P> <p>rmeehan17</p>]]></description>
