[nerfhaven.com] Nerf to a whole new level of geek. How to make the Long Shot into a real sniper rifle among them. Apparently, the darts it comes with are the major issue. Refil kit darts are heavier and more accurate. Of course, replacing the barrel with a brass one does wonders too!

@relic1980: Yeap, "The Godfather: Blackhand Edition" allows you to use the garrote. You have to hold the Wii Remote and Nunchuk up and then swing them from side to side.

On a sidenote, this is the reason that Manhunt 2 is banned in the UK, because the plastic weapons in this kit are too realistic, unlike the real ones the kids carry around these days.

I would have to say... not my opinion, but it's a fact that selling those peripheral all together is really going overboard, especially that sword thing and the ax. Whats next? M16A2 with a fully loaded cartridge??? I wish... We don't need all those worthless attachments. It's stupid. It's an accident waiting to happen, playing a game with an plastic ax attached the controller, do they really really want you to simulate killing or do they want you to have fun?

Sadly, just because they are in identical poses doesn't mean a lawsuit is likely. Unless they got seriously crazy and trademarked those poses, they aren't the same renders. You can depict the ANH Luke pose, with legs spread apart and something phallic raised over your head, but as long as it's _not_ Luke, and _not_ recognizably a known lightsaber hilt, you're golden.

Huh. I always thought "painful torturous labor that will inspire you to tear your hair out" was more useful as a weapon than the easy stuff. That's usually more useful for rejuvenating your enemy.

Anywhoo, if the media was about to go to eleven on the Wii Zapper inciting real life violence ala gaming, this sure as hell will get their attention.

As for cheap stupid peripherals... who let Nerf in on the whole thing? I don't need 7(+1 apparently) weapons for the wiimote, and I don't need Nerf shoveling their foam crap into the video game section either. Their purpose has been served, they finally cultivated the Nerf sniper rifle, they are no longer needed.

Well I'm sure it doesn't have the seal of quality :P Junk peripherals like this don't bother me that much. It sucks when companines like this start putting out games though, like those Wii racing games on Kotaku a couple days ago. Heck Nintendo itself probably has put out some of the worse peripherals in history if you count the Super Scope 6 and R.O.B. I also blame them for the Power-glove even though that was 3rd party. I can't pin the U-Force on them though.

Hmmm...I've already seen peripheral packages like this.
Some sort of 8 in one sports package.
