Ron Paul is adamantly against the union of church and state. While he is pro-life, he isn't willing to force that belief upon the entire country and he leaves that decision up to the states. One of his many pro-liberty stances that lets you decide issues related to your life, not the government.

Additionally, those of you who call him crazy are throwing around baseless ad hominem attacks which I can only assume come from laziness and lack of evidence on your own parts. If you actually took the time to watch one of Dr. Paul's speeches on youtube you might actually understand that he is spot on in terms of the coming economic crisis and the horrible foreign policy that the US has been practicing for quite some while. Additionally, tell me one positive thing the Dept. of Education or the Dept. of Energy does for the US other then provide jobs and needless bureaucracy.

I hope that some of you will educate yourselves before election day and then maybe you will be more receptive to Dr. Paul's ideas.

I personally don't think socialism or fascism is anything close to "fair" or "just." Of course, opinions on that differ and that's to be expected.

And I'd rather not have a candidate who says he'll follow the Constitution but when "facts change" (and they always do) use that as a justification for trampling over our rights. I trust that he's able to look at the facts and make the right decision.

As another posted, he's for pure free market enterprise, which in theory limits the role government can take in the market of goods and services. Free markets are a good thing if your not being impacted.

However, as another posted, Net Neutrality is completely counter to a free market, and thus would be scrapped. Without any protection, how long would comcast take to charge more for all WoW Traffic? Or Traffic to Kotaku?

The free market systems believes that if consumers are pissed, they'll take their business elsewhere, but ISP's like comcast have a near monopoly making it much harder to switch.
