ah ok, I found a site explaining it. they had some other stuff that happened before. If you type. thecakeisalie. It showed a picture of a relaxation chamber. and pressing any button showed you an invoice. It seems they got rid of those now. since none of the commands are working.

@rljohn: The UIN+L keeps changing at the start. I tried to copy it into Word, and looked up to see my "L" change to a 6 in the middle of typing it... I think it keeps the first two (a0) the same while randomly rotating the others every few times the thing flashes.

In short, type in "login" and enter:

username: GLaDOS
password: PORTAL

type "dir" to see the entire directory, it lists apply.exe

Type in "apply"

And it goes through 30 some odd questions...remember to screenshot/save your UIN+L or you'll fail the last question...oh...and your "favorite" color question appears twice, with options in opposite order.

I like the little things they added. Like the ornaments, gnome on the mantle, crowbar, security sentry behind the boxes. They put a lot of Orange Box stuff in there but they didn't make it obvious or cluttered with references. Subtle is the best.

For those that don't know, there is a login and password within the game, scrawled on the wall of one of the 'side rooms' that works on this page. Type 'login', then the username and pass. (Also, you could use any login name and 'portal' as the password, but you only get access to one item. Remember your DOS commands.)
