Characters with large breasts are nothing new to the SoulSeries of games. Although the designers have gone a "tad" overboard with some of their choices for the bust sizes of some female cast members, no way in hell will that be all it takes for SC to become as trivialized and exploitive as the DOA series.

I still hold the Soul-Series as one of my favorite fighters next to GGX and Fatal Fury, and every time some new screens are released, my anticipation grows larger. Can't wait to play with Mitsurugi and Cassandra again.

Bored. Where the hell are the games for those of us who prefer hips/ass to breasts? DOA was actually far more attractive in its first incarnation than in all the recent versions. The girls then had some real hips, however polygonal they may have been; now they're just breasts and almost androgynously-flat rear ends. Boring. Likewise for this game, it's a downgrade - hell, getting to choose the color of Sophitia's panties in the first game with a button combination was more erotic than these images.

Anyone who doesn't think these screen shots are beautiful are completely insane...like others have said, a fighting game hasn't looked this good since the first time anyone laid eyes on Soul Calibur. Personally, I have a different example: I am as amazed as the first time I saw Virtua Fighter 3 arcade..

My only worry is that the character list looks extremely small compared to SCII and SCIII. No Talim? No Seung Mina? No Xianhuang? Especially with how great the females are looking, it'd be sad for them NOT to return..

The character design is amazing, I agree. I like how Raphael's costume is directly inspired by, if not ripped off completely from Alucard's outfit in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It fits him, somehow. All the designs are pretty good...

Seriously, if I were a girl, I'd probably enter the fighting tournament with no top on at all rather than something all skimpy like. Seriously. If shes going to protect herself with a thin layer of cloth, she might as well go bare chested and hope to distract male opponents long enough to stab them.

Or maybe I just look too much into the logic behind yet another fighting game with yet another slender large breasted character.
