with XBox Live. Except it seems more acceptable

Guess that's just another example of hypocrisy

Almost every time I've seen a good comedian on some short skit introduction act at an award ceremony, it's weak, and it's because their act is usually based on a theme. That theme is usually never what the ceremony is about.

Don't believe me? The same thing happened with Dane Cook at the 2005 (or 04, I can't remember which) MTV VMA's. He was so bad they actually had the host walk out onto the stage with him and just announce his name halfway into one of his jokes about music to get the last round of applause and move on.
