I am really surprised you have not updated this story with more facts, which QUBE provided. Here is the last bit: If you download it you get ONLY 250 Gamerscore because of the DLC restriction from Microsoft. The retail disc obviously has 1000 Gamerscore. I have confirmed this with my Eidos contact.

Yes. This information is accurate. Guys, look at the download on the market place. The download says that you DO NEED "TOMB RAIDER: LEGENDS" in order to play both of the "2 episode" downloads. So hopefully there is no more debate whether you need Tomb Raider: Legends or not.

For those that have a Gamecrazy store near them in the US (usually attached to a Hollywood Video) the normal price for the 360 disk version of Anniversary is $30 at that chain.

GAME have this game for the 360 at £24.99..therfor you wouldnt need TR:legends disc..or the 3 gig space on your hard drive,if you dont have a credit card,then it will cost you about £35-40 to buy two 2100 cards to get the 2400 points needed....so i will wait and get the retail version a little later on.

Yeah or maybe we already bought it for PS2 because they said (at the time) it WASN'T coming out for 360.

I may or may not get this game at retail (Alot of other good games out) but at a lower price. No point in spending that much ( for me) if I alredy have it for PS2. It's just for the graphical upgrade. The Wii version is tempting but it's the same deal. The box cover is sexy as heck though. A wonder what a white background can do to change the whole look of the cover art.

You're reading too much into it. The "tranni" refers to "TRAnni" which refers to "Tomb Raider Anniversary". So no, Laura Croft does not have a penis in that picture. You can let your imagination fill in the gaps.

No, we're saying you have to own the previous Tomb Raider game called Tomb Raider: Legend. The Anniversary game is running on the same engine and it was originally said that you need to own the Legend game on disc in order to utilize the downloaded version of Anniversary.

I can't seem to get the Croft Manor achievement. I completed a speed run of Croft Manor in under 17 mins and when the level stat screen popped up at the end of the level it said 'Time Trial Completed: No'. Even though I completed it under the time limit. Not cool.

Anybody actually get that achievement? Or is it a bug in the 360 version.

They released this at such a bad time. I have so many other games to play right now that this will have to wait, and prices never seem to decrease for stuff on live. Therefore once I'm ready to play it sometime next summer; I will just get the cheaper/used disc version.

Well seeing as the download comes out to 3GB and you'd presumably need Legend solely for the engine and resources, I'd say they decided to include the engine and resources with the download.

So I'm guessing you don't need Legend.
