I think the real question is do WE in the US have an MDA? I'd like to think that there was some sort of agency or committee devoted to fostering media development in the US. They don't even have to rap, just develop an aggressive coherent media/web advancement policy.

This is why this will be the Asian century - because we're too busy worrying about things like Freedom Fries to notice how the rest of the world has overtaken us.

Damn I wanted to send kotaku this vid in the morning when I saw it in the newspapers. Haha.

Well... the rap might be horrible, but which other governing body's management would dare to do this? At least it sort of soften MDA's image a little. Maybe Mass Effect's banning and this video are all just a part of a publicity stunt by MDA to garner support for the rating system launching next year? I don't think they seriously had a meeting immediately after they banned the game and decided to un-ban it.
