Psh, I like the plane, myself. Has anyone stopped to notice that the missile trails are green instead of grey? Now, I do admit that it's a little expensive, and rather than releasing them one at a time, they should just make the entire Idolm@ster pack available in the future for like, 1000, which is way less than they'd all cost seperately... Lol, another thing I'd like to see is a namco arcade pack, pac man on my F-22 XD

FWIW, cartoon drawings on warplanes is nothing new anyway - since they actually do it in real life. Pretty sure that in WW2 some American ones has them too.

I thought they meant it to be a serious game? I haven't picked it up yet but I played the demo and it sure didn't come across as a comical game...

I gave up on Ace Combat after the demo kept restarting me at a checkpoint where I was upside-down and flying six feet above the ocean.

That flight stick looks awesome though. I'd like to buy it just for that. There's no cockpit view though, right? That's a deal breaker for me.

The plane looks awesome though.

@RPharazon: I'm not saying the idolmaster skin shouldn't be in the game. It's completely up to namco what goes in there, and who am I to argue with that.
What is miffing me is the fact that there is more to this DLC update, but ashcraft is too caught up on the fact that there's an anime girl on one of the paint schemes to even mention it.

@RobTheBuilder: Not so sure about that; the Ace Combat forums have been full of flaming pissed folks for the last day or so thanks to this news. While Imas fans are obviously (generally) happy to see the news, esp. since it's _only_ 40% the cost of a schoolgirl swimsuit costume (1000MSPs), fans of the actual Ace Combat series, along with anyone else disguising as one, are pissed that Namco is 'tainting' their beloved series. They should be happy to know that they say this is "first in the series," which means you'll be seeing F117 B-72 ver, A-10 F-91 ver, and 9 other (more if they go through the sub characters) planes very soon.

Stats are already available on the official site, btw [www.acecombat.jp] . Missile and special weapons payload are linked to character stats [www.idolmaster.jp] .
