hmm...how many other versions of the X360 are they coming out with? The Halo 3 console was stupid since it didn't come with Halo 3. C'mon Microsoft, alittle love for your gamers.

The Best Buy I work for got the Premium Holiday bundles in last week. I believe we are currently sold out of them too. The only system we can keep in stock (because we were sent so many) is Elites and the Halo pack, and those both sell pretty well too. But please please PLEASE!!!! send some people to buy our PS3s. We have so many of the 80g, and the 60g, and we just cant move them!

On the other hand, we had some Wiis. They came, they went...

@adventchild08: And if there were fifty different packages/bundles. As long as it states what's inside (HDD or not and what size, headset, controller wireless or not, etc.), I see no problem at all. The same goes for the PS3.

Funny thing is, I have never in my life seen any of the Xbox360 packages in any retail store.
Not because they aren't there, but because I'm that much of a moron and never visit "gaming stores". Amazon prevails.

Thus I can't help but wonder about the size of that package, maybe it's just the picture, but my 360 packaging is waaaaaaaay smaller than that in real life.

This makes me laugh, it makes me laugh a lot. I work at a Toys R Us and unloaded a few of these off a truck a couple of days ago. The actual street date for these things is 10/23 and the boxes are slapped with big orange lables that state that it's not supposed to be on shelves until then.

I wonder how big of a fine that Walmat, I think it's a Walmart, is gonna get for breaking the street date.

I"m guessing Microsoft just let it slip into retails on purpose.. They probably saw the massive mess that Sony did when they kept on announcing new PS3 SKU's with different hard drive sizes. Rather than getting people excited, it just confused the heck out of everybody.

not likely, they'll either fix the heating problem or give you one w/ the same series (usually confirmed by your DVD-rom drive.

i mean you have to realize a few things when it comes to the repair process:

1) microsoft never touches it
2) you will potentially lose all your xbla content
3) UPS certified technicians are actually the ones that service your 360 at their texas facility.

so not to burst your bubble but the odds of you getting a newer chipset is slim to none without raising some serious hell with the system, but since they already extended the warranty one something that generally has a limited warranty, you're out of luck.
