Okay so please tell me where the line is for the word "gay" when it is not used as an insult? There is no need to say "that pose is gay" or something is "gay" in any way at all. How about "I don't care for Altair's pose." When I get the upper hand in an online game and that person cries out "your gay", that is an insult and ignorant; so how does one not take any form of that word as an insult? Because going outside the use of the word "gay" other then using it as a label that is less clinical for a person who is a homosexual, it is 99% used by people as an insult. It needs to stop … if you find something stupid then use the word stupid. It hurts others, its negative, its not cool, its very immature and if you use it so flippantly then you are just going to keep coming across as an ignorant bigot.

I got the Bioshock Collecters Edition Big Daddy toy and while it wasn't painted as detailed as i'd have liked, it surprised me how cool it actually was. You can't pose it or anything, but it's heavy and stands out nicely on the bookshelf against the more run of the mill toylines.

the sculpt of the BD was nice but cast in the cheapest scrap plastic available. the broken ones have still not been replaced and customers have been left completely in the dark. non US and Canadian customer had no way of getting replacements at all.. the extras dvd included wasn't worth watching..

the moral is don't pre-order special editions. wait for some reviews from people who have it in their hands that you trust.

if the xbox buyers are happy with this one then the PC version may be worth buying.. may buy it, will wait and see..

As for the box set, I hope it comes out in the UK, my video game figure collection is growing quite nicely, and I think it'd make a cool addition. More than that, though, the game looks great.

Anyway, I like the statue. Chances are, due to the lack of McFarlane-esque detail, it'll probably decrease the price of the Collector's Edition. Hopefully it's only an extra 10-20 dollars. Any more would be totally gay. >_>

Setting aside the blatant indefensible homophobia for a moment, you sound juvenile and ignorant when you call something you disapprove of gay. Yeah, Altair looks a little janky, and a little bit too pastel colored for a Crusade-era Assasin. I was hoping for a little more grit, and a little more detail. My Big Daddy sorta sets the bar in the SE collectible department.

Don't know how CheapyD blew the lid off this one a few weeks back. I knew about the figurine months ago when I first plopped down my duckets for the game.
