to echo a few comments on here, Ben10 actually has decent story and such, especially the grandfather's backstory. The time travel elements and hints and the girl's future powers have all been great. Probably my 2nd favorite "kids" cartoon on now, behind Kim Possible (which may have just ended again).

The show is good but I don't really like the game. If there's going to be a game about the show you have to be able to play as all the aliens and to be able to get more. And it would be awesome to be able to change between them at will. In other words, a system more like the one in the transformers game where you could change between car and bot easily.

Unlike alot of the crappy cartoons out now (and note that, despite what some might say, "anime" is "cartoons", so consider my comments offensive no matter where your preferences lie), Ben 10 actually has some semblance of characterization and plot. The characters are more likable and the writing much tighter.

That said, the show has quite a few "filler" eps. And that live action movie was kinda dumb. But the good eps are REALLY good.

@Balgeary: They are making a live action its bout to come one cartoon network it looks really lame. The cartoon is actually pretty good the whole granpa plumber back story is pretty cool. Most cartoons don't translate well to live action.

Why isn't Hollywood making a live action movie yet?
A 70's Hanna Barbara color scheme, the characters are a strange bunch, and the main conceit of the show is that a kid can turn into various beasts via pushing buttons on his watch. It's a win all across the board.

When this show first came out I avoided it. Just another wannabe hero show with the main gimmick only created to sell lots of toys. Then I was bored one day and tuned in to it. I was hooked from the start. Great writing and fleshed out characters can add a lot to a programme. I've been keeping an eye on the game in the hope that it might actually be quite good.

My nephew is pretty fond of the show, so if he's any good at nagging when I was a kid, he can con his mother to get himself a copy. The only line I can see with the cartoon appealing to adults (or me) is the art style of the animation, because it reminds me of other cartoons/comics growing up. It has no interest to me though, but my nephew will be happy to hear this.
