Yeah I loved that game it was brilliant stuff back then.

Kinda want to see a remake of it just becuase it was so damned amusing and the humor was excellent.

Although the way the little minions act in overlord really reminds me of the style The Horde had.

@Witzbold: Ah yes. Those things exploded like tomatoes, and those cutscenes were pretty cool on the CD ROM version (a luxury at the time, as they also did a still-frame version for floppy disk if I remember rightly). Those poor cows. I always spent so much time building traps around them. Damned Horde.

After watching the video, I really hope they can get that crayon style to go along with the main game. The still images along with the animated talking bits look gorgeous, while the actual game looks like a lot like MySims with a forest feel. I'd still get it, but having it be based on graphics and not just gameplay would be nice.

I would have loved this game 5 years ago. Unfortunately I've grown distant from the "your character is a 15 year old who: whatever." Maybe the whole king barking commands thing would draw me in, but in reality I'm just not able to connect to the adolescent RPG premise any more. I'm too damned old. Cry for me whilst you bash.

I just hope it doesn't end up being too short. Black & White 2 was kind of dissapointed. It was like a big tutorial, and then when you want to start playing seriously the game ends.

@dnzperson: It makes sense for Japan the ones who own the 360 is the more "hardcore" market.

On the Wii it will bet the most exposure and yet allow them to use nicer graphics than releasing it on the DS itself. Perhaps if the game does well on the Wii they might consider a DS version perhaps.

Im totally understanding about his comment with dev costs for the PS3 being too high also. Hes not being a dick or a sony hater just somebody who doesnt have a huge budget to try an experimental title with on a harder to develop for system.

I think the wii controls will be great for this sort of game also, and will be a welcomed addition to the game library.
