That is a big lie!! Here's my story. I had no picture on my 360, I could here the sounds but there was no pic. So I decided to do the Towel trick and it worked!! But only for couple of days. Then after doing thet like 4 times, I got the 3 red lights. So I called Xbox Customer Support and Made a Repair order. So I got my box but didn't send it till 11/21/07 because I wanted to play smackdown vs raw 2008 by doing the towel trick again. So I send it on Nov 21, and it arrived in McAllen, Texas on Nov 26. Then I called Xbox customer support 3 days later after THEY got it and they told me they had send it back to me so I was like "thats cool!!!". I got it back on Dec 4 and it's been working grat since then. So I really think its just people's luck. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS THINK POSITIVE!! NEVER THINK NEGATIVE!!

STRAnG3R

ABout three weeks ago my xbox got the "3". I called, they sent me a
coffin a week later. Cool, except for the fact they forgot the shipping
sticker to the service center. I had to wait another week to receive
the shipping sticker! Finally i sent it out last week on the twelth of
Dec. They said it will take 4-6 weeks. I only live an hour from the
repair center, but it takes 3 days to ship?! I would like to send them
a big turd instead.
It would problay perform just as well as the piece of sh*t i sent to
them. so if it takes 4-6 weeks that will be a total of almost 9 weeks.
Just over two months. Yeah!

ralfhnader

I'm getting totally screwed over by microsoft. So far this is my 2nd xbox in 10 months. I have an extended warranty with BestBuy (2 years), they won't honour it. All console errors have to go through microsoft now. I call the 1800 number and they send me a the box to send it back, problem is, they sent it to the WRONG ADDRESS! I log into the service centre, the CSR on the phone took down all the wrong information. Microsoft customer service is a complete clown operation!

ilango

Another really neat thing about 360 is that when you buy HD-DVD movies they freeze up half the time! Good thing they have the regular DVD version on the other side so you can switch it to your old player and watch your new $35 movie in standard def. Also, if you pause any movie and then come back after a few minutes the movie always jams up (Guide button does not respond) and you need to restart the unit. Top quality stuff!

GOLD5

Wow, sounds like the US support is fairly horrible. I bought my 360 at the aussie launch and only just died recently. Called up the help line, was on hold for all of maybe 2 minutes and had the whole thing sorted in 10. I was told I'll have it back in 7-10 business days. So hoping that is true after reading this!

SpiceMan

I have to say that listening to these stories is like working in a battered wife drop in centre.

Wife : My Xbox treats me badly and does not respect me, he RROD on me six months ago and then last week he did it again.

Counsellor : Why don't you leave him, there are other options out there.

Wife : I just can't do it, out relationship is strong, I know he'll change.

2 months later...

Counsellor : You again...

Wife : My Xbox treats me badly and does not respect me, he RROD on me again.

Guys I want an Xbox 360, but until ALL of you become more vocal about it and get Microsoft to sort this shit out, I can only sit on the sidelines and laugh and refuse to put myself in the position to go through all the repair rubbish.
Mine has been languishing in the secret Microsoft workshop, somewhere near the north pole, being tweaked, soldered and generally fannied about with for about five and a half weeks now. It popped it's clogs immediately after I took part in a broken 360 poll on this very site. Ah, the irony.

@crecente: May I suggest referring to "our sources tell us" in the articles vs. "rumor has it". I think most people's reaction to posts with no links or sources cited tend to lean towards just discounting the article.

That being said, I just sent my box back on Friday with a RRoD so I'm curious as to how long it will take.

brucifer

Why aren't more people actually going to the press with this stuff. If 100,000 people demonstrated about it, someone would have to take notice. If everyone just keeps buying new Xboxs just so they can play the latest game, Microsoft will never learn.

sauvage

This was inevitable. By releasing new consoles and repairing others with bolt on upgrades MS guaranteed that there would be a rush on free fixes.

They could have avoided this by making the upgraded heatsinks available as a self-install kit.

Now they're stuck manging a shitload of inventory and paying for labor to actually complete the repairs.

O-Z

I have a 2 year warranty through CompUSA. I tried to kill my Xbox 360 last night so i could send it in for the HDMI one maybe. But I cant kill my system!!! At least not with heat.

I tried playing all day with a blanket on it, and it just got hot. I put a couple plastic bags around it and the blanket, and it just would over heat and shut down. I would turn it off, then turn it back on and it is fine.

Oh well, I will send it in anyway.

Justcrim

I'm terrified of having to go through that ordeal again. The whole time they have you on hold they try to sell you accessories for your broken console. It really is insane. Microsoft has all the money and resources in the world, why don't they just get crackin' on the 65nm Falcon chip, send new consoles to those who got red ringed, and call it a day. Mine went RROD Monday August 13th, got the coffin and sent it in on Monday August 20th.

Very quickly I received word that it was back in the mail ! I was stoked!

Got it yesterday and they replaced my unit with a whole new unit! It started up perfectly and I reach for my Bioshock disc. Oops, the disc tray won't open...

The disc tray is broken. They sent me a unit with a broken disc tray that won't open or close. And I can't put it back in the mail yet because the initial repair order isn't closed yet, despite the fact that I've already received the unit.

If it takes 6 weeks to get my 360 back Microsoft can count my business goodbye. I'm already waiting to play Bioshock and I won't support them anymore if I can't play Halo 3 on launch day. I'll be turning in the 360 for a PS3. It may only have two good games now (Resistance and Virtua Fighter 5) but there are quite a few coming out this fall and I'll know that the system is reliable.

All the people I know personally who have bought a 360 had some sort of problem at one point or another and either sent it in for repairs or got a replacement at where they bought it before the warranty was extended. Microsoft is loosing all the advantages they had over the other systems and left it wide open for the Wii to steamroll them.

silentbobfan

@sldtrap: Damn I hate that automated bastard Max as well.

Yeah, I mean frankly (and keep in mind I'm also a 360 owner, on my 3rd one) we've enabled this behavior by putting up with MS' shenanigans for far too long. We've let them sell us substandard servers, OSes, and Office suites for decades, and continued to pay for the crap even as we experience untold headaches as a result of their piss-poor engineering and focus on profit over quality. I'm not making this into a "Oh we should just all switch to Macs/Linux/etc, buy a PS3" kind of thing either, thats works for some but not all, and there are very practical reasons behind it.

Same goes for Adobe, EA, even Nintendo and Sony have put out crappy products and we've allowed them to get away with it by continuing to buy into it. Software and development IS hard and expensive, but there has to be a better way than this.

Still, as others have said, giving us free repairs and our lost month of XBL back is about all we can reasonably expect as a group. We might be able to take them on individually (like Mongoosekun said), but as a group we're getting all we're gonna get.

I do think its silly to buy another one, but thats because most of the major games I want/have for it are cross-platform. The only thing I'll miss if I eventually can't replace it for free after it dies is Halo3 at this point.

DaiMacculate

On 6/16/07 my xbox broke, started overheating etc... I called xbox service on 6/18/07. I got an email saying my box shipped on 6/21/07. I got the box on 7/1/07. The first box did not have a return sticker, so I could not send my console back. I called microsoft on 7/3/07 to request a new box. They said they'd ship me one (getting them to do so took an hour and a half). This box never came. I called them up on 7/13/07 to check. they said I had never talked to them on 7/3/07 so they'd send me out a new box again. on 7/21/07 i got my box. I sent it out 7/30/07 and still haven't recieved it back. it is now 8/28/07. so from the time of my xbox breaking to now, it has been 2 months and 12 days. This is unacceptable. I haven't had an xbox in 2 months and 12 days because of Microsoft. they have never contacted me or offered me a game or anything. >:-(

kfacobellman

I really don't understand the logic sometimes, if a machine breaks more then two or three times for me i would never comeback to it and cut my losses (get the fixed machine back and sell it off for something else). And when consumers continue with just by a spare box. Doesn't that if logic states me correct, double the price of the machine to something even worse then PS3 or whatever other thing you want to play? Granted they have a fair amount of games, i don't see the point in continually being poked up the ass by rings of death. Now for those who still have working units from day one cool, but right now from reading all of this and with all the 360 friends I have, its become norm or exceptance that the break down is inevitably going to happen! And when did this become ok in the world?

siamgx

I must be the only person who has a launch day 360, plays it pretty much daily and has never had any kinds of problems with it. I only know 2 people out of like 20 that I know with 360s who have had to send them in, either. There certainly must be a problem, but I don't know if it's as bad as the blogs would have you believe. I Sent mine in on 8-8-07 and received a new one on 8-23-07. (Note I live in Texas so travel time was less) The one I received was not my original 360 and I am not sure if it has the new heat sink but it does have the newer BenQ DVD drive installed. In looking at the caked dust on the fan propellers I would say whoever owned it previously played it pretty hard, or on a dirt road....or both. Come on M.S. how hard is it to blow off the unit before closing it back up. Glad to have it though!

chrisvioxxx

It just encourages Microsoft to not do anything. Why would they? Not only are their sales already strong, but they are actually getting people to double dip into their defective hardware.

Ah another RROD stories. Been there, abandoned 360 until there's no reported problems on the new falcon version. Will probably rebuy it sometimes in Jan-Feb next year.

I just don't get the logic of owning "secondary" 360 as backup. Wouldn't that actually make 360 more expensive than PS3? 360-> $350x2 = 700 bucks. PS3 = 500 bucks.

I sent my box in last week, they should be getting it today.

What I don't get is that if the hardware is borked, why are they refurbishing messed up hardware? Isn't it more expensive for MS to keep fixing the same consoles over and over, rather than replacing units with hardware that's not going to die?

My guess is the if you bought a 360 before they fixed the problems,(if they ever did)then it's going to fail within 3-5 years. Instead of a recall MS decided to stagger the blow by extending the warranty, so that the money is a trickle rather than a torrent.

While MS explained that a recall is reserved for problems that are a health risk,(bad power bricks, shooting sparks, random fires, herpes, lesions, etc) it's pretty screwed up the way they treat the users like children and fix their problems the way MS fixes aways does it; by throwing cash at it until it goes away.

Hopefully I'll get it back and it won't break again, but if it does and the PS3 price drops to the $400 range before MGS4, then I guess MS will lose me as a customer for good.

BTW: Bioshock beats the pants off of Metroid Prime 3, and don't try to tell me they're not similar games.

figurhead

Sadly, it might take missing the key franchise launch to get people to demand a recall.

@sadkermit:

Yes, if you read my post history I've mentioned a few times. I'm in awe of consumer stupidity. Even without the warranty they could get a full refund via small claims court ( no lawyers ). If a console I bought did this I'd likely be leading a class action suit or two. There are plenty of design and hardware defects to take to court.

@NateN:

You can file for more than motor vehicles, and some states cover any product over $50-$100. The zinger is the defect is never fixed for the product, which will whip people into a frenzy if you take it to court. In fact land sharks drool over such cases.

I don't think MS ever appreciated how expensive this screw up was going to be. It seems to be feeding on itself.

1. Rush low-quality consoles to market
2. Rumors of breakage surface (denial! denial!)
3. Slow realization this *is* a problem
4. Make reasonable repair policy, but screw up again by handing out "refurbs" as "fixed consoles"
5. Stories of multiple bad consoles (I'm on my 6th!)
6. Earn reputation as a P.O.S.
7. Supply ($1BN) 3-year warranty.

Oh boy, I was waiting for this to come up again so I can unleash my pent up Microsoft hate. I don't hate them to hate them, oh no, I have a good reason:

I sent in a console in July. I got it back in August, about 4 weeks turn around time and 2 weeks longer then I was initially told. I hook it up, pop on my hard drive, and I'm rip roaring ready to go. I go to open the DVD drive, and it DOESN'T OPEN. I've been sent back a broken console. Well, Microsoft must employ some reasonable folks, so I'll get an expedited repair, right?

No. You won't. I've talked to the my-xbox folks, I've talked to the xbox product specialist folks. I've even talked to their customer support folks via the BBB, and they've ALL turned me down. So my next step is to go for arbitration via the BBB, or I could sue them in small claims court, or I could just sit in the corner and fume. I'm ticked off enough that I'm probably not going to settle for #3.

I'd recommend to folks in the US that are truly ticked off about the way Microsoft is handling their repairs contact the FTC. (They have a form under Consumer Protection called File a Complaint). While it won't help you directly, the FTC will investigate once they get enough complaints. If you've had only 1 broken console I don't think that's worth making a complaint about, but if you've been jerked around like I have it's probably worth sending in a note. Hopefully it will improve the repairs process for everybody.

@sadkermit: From what I can tell there is no lemon law for consumer electronics. I've looked, but nothing jumped out at me. According to the warranty, Washington's laws are the ones that matter, and lemon laws are pretty much for cars.

@crecente:  I'm green with envy! :-P.

NateN

My 360 (an elite that I got the day it launched) just broke down the day after I finished Bioshock. Being someone who even read the Halo books, I might be a little miffed if its not back in time for Halo 3.

Also, I sold my old pro console from launch to a friend in order to get an elite, and his still works great, which twists the knife.

Mini-Boss

After giving me warning signs since... well, the day I bought it, mine finally red-ringed this weekend. Say what you will about Gamestop, but I'm so glad I had the warranty - my 360 is already replaced (and I was lucky enough to get one with HDMI). Not having to wait 6 weeks is worth the $50, to me anyway. I bought my 360 during a promo in which the warranty was thrown in for free, but I didn't think twice about paying $50 to renew it this time around.

trax

@seanj652: My first 360 RRoD'd right after the Halo 3 beta finished so no skin off my back =] Took about 2 weeks for the refurb to come in.

But that was before the new 3-year warranty was available and the service centers got swamped with returns. That's what this rumor is talking about.

Personally I took preventative measures on my 360. I was already outside the 1-year warranty (this was also before the extension) so I ripped the sucker open and modified the cooling shroud to pull air across the entire heatsink instead of just across one edge. I'm also ready to do the X-clamp replacement if I ever get the RROD, but so far I've been ok. *knocks on wood*

baberg

Rumor - Busted
My son's X360 died on the 4th of August and I received the "coffin" on the 8th. Sent out the same day and received the refurbished unit on the 24th along with the one month XBox Live card.

While my one experience may or may not be the norm, 2 weeks from out my door to back playing seems to be a good turn around time.

All and all I rate that as good service.

I called about my rrod on 8\6. I didn't get my coffin until the 15th. According to UPS it wasn't sent until th 10th. 9 days total for me to get my coffin. Not cool. When I got the coffin, I found a UPS store that I could ship out that night. It took less than two days to get to Texas (8\17 it was delivered to MS). Monday morning at 2:45 they sent me an email that my console was shipping. From the s/n, it appears that I am getting a referb. This morning the UPS site says that they now have my console in San Antonio and that it is going out in a truck. Hope fully I will have it by this weekend. If I get it by 9\3 it will have taken 4 weeks.

VaderTV

@Reluctant-Hero: This happened to me late last fall. I got my return (after about 3 weeks) and the dvd drive door wouldn't open! I called them and got the same, "We can't send out a new one until we get the old one back." response.

So, I waited a week for the return box, didn't come. I then called them back and was told they didn't have anything in their system that I had called in with a problem! Argghh! Waited another week for the return box (2 weeks total), then got the 3rd unit back about 3 weeks later. Total time to get one working system: about 8 weeks and all I got was PGR "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"! Really bad customer service protocol (at least last year, don't know about now).

Anyway, I sold my 360 around May of this year and am waiting for the 45nm (hopefully the one with the 2 game bundle). I really want to play Bioshock, but I shall resist the temptation. Oh well, enjoying RE4 and FFXII on my PS2 until then!

kagai

My friends broken down last month and he got a replacement in 8 days total from the initial phone call. Mine bit the dust a couple of weeks ago and the turnaround time for me was under 2 weeks as well. I got a letter saying that they sent a replacement instead of my original console to expedite the process. I also got a free 1 month XBL Gold card with an apology for the downtime. I dunno about you guys, but < 2 weeks turnaround time is pretty acceptable. The fact that they break so often sucks, but at least they get them replaced (if not fixed) quickly.

Try sending out anything else back to the manufacturer and see how long the turnaround time is. It's a pretty sure bet it won't be less than 2 weeks.

Katsu

I got my 360 back 2 weeks ago due to RROD. All was fine I cld play games, watch mpeg4's from thumbstick, and log into media center. Then I tried playing a DVD and it gave me a region error. I tried several other DVD's and none worked. I called MSFT and they they said the DVD drive is one coded for Mexico and they wold replace it free of charge. The point is, when you get your 360 back from repair make sure it can still play your DVDs. You never know when you might need it for that. I just sent it back to MSFT today and I'm hoping I get it back before the 25th. Good thing I have 2.

Friscodude

My friend got the RROD just before the whole web registration thing came out. It took him an hour of waiting on the phone just to get to talk to someone, then over a week for his coffin to show up. He got a different 360 back than the one he sent in, and this one has a faulty DVD tray(it won't open until about the 4th or 5th press of the button). So he's gonna have to send that one back as well.
Long story short, he got screwed cuz MS sent back a faulty refurb, and now he's going to be out a system for another 4 weeks.

MrPants

I bought the original xbox over New Years after it had been out a few months way back when. I played Halo at my friends house and fell in love. Say what you may, but I enjoyed that game FOR YEARS. Massive replay value.

Sadly when Halo2 finally came out my xbox had long since crapped out with a crudtacular DVD. So I missed out. Although some would argue I didn't.

Anyhow, with Halo 3 coming out I was preparing to be one of the masses and buy a new x360 and a copy of Halo 3... but with this quality control issue it's just REALLY making me wonder... is it worth it? Probably... for a few weeks. But then I'd have the buyers remorse.

LunchViking

@ Crecente

It's way worse than "slowed to crawl", quality controls seems to have taken a hit as well. My original Xbox 360 (bought 12/28/05) started to have WAY too many disc read errors on clean, flawless, games in July. I'v got the 2 year extended warranty so I called in for a repair. Xbox Service sent me the white box and I sent to them for service on 7/31/07. I finally received a system back on Friday, 8/24/07.

I stoked to have my '360 back for Bioshock. But to my dismay upon opening the box, it wasn't my original console, this was a refurb that says it was originally made in April 2007. Oh well, right? Well upon hooking said refurbished unit I was immeadiately greeted with the dreaded 3 red lights "Ring of Death". I can't begin to tell you how angry I was.

So of course I had to call up 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and request service again. The reps were nice, but you can tell they had to go by their SOP (standard operating procedure) because they could only offer me compensation in the form of Kameo, PGR 4, or XBLA Unplugged. I felt slightly insulted being offered a $20 game for their huge error and I won't even be able to play the game with a '360! I asked them to ship me a new/refurb unit right then and they said they cannot do that. Man, I almost crushed my cell phone in my angry grip.

I wish there was a way to make a formal complaint against the Xbox Service department with Microsoft. The Service Manager said she logged my complaint, but I doubt that will do much good.

Now I plan to trade in the next system they send me, providing it work, towards a brand new premium. Part of me wishes I could just drop the '360 altogether because of this experience. But games like Halo 3, Mass Effect, and Ace Combat 6 compel me to stay with the '360.

Reluctant-Hero

I was amazed at the computer-like HD graphics. I never purchased a console system because I had such better graphics on a PC. Plus, playing GTA on a regular TV is impossible, there's too much stuff and not enough resolution. Eye strain city!

I'm getting mine back today (on the UPS truck, oh what a safe place for it) for the second time. Its a great system and I have a lot of fun. I had to get a Wii just to keep me busy during the month long wait for a system that will break in another month and have to repeat this whole BS fiasco.

In my opinion, Microsoft has the following options:
A: Be cheap-asses that got themselves in this situation in the first place, pay UPS tons of cash to cart around broken consoles, have gamers not spend money on games (where they actually profit) because they never have a working console.

B: Replace the units with fresh ones that will not Red Ring or lock up (my issues I witnessed personally, respectively). Keep them in the houses of the people who shelled out the cash for them and keep them buying games. Profit.

If they keep choosing option A, I'll have to pawn my 360 gear off on some unsuspecting sucker.

crappedcrusader

@MJDeviant: What would you have us do? NOT replace the console? It's not like they're charging us to do so, it is covered by the guarantee. And I don't know in the US but in Canada they're sending us a card for one month of Gold Membership to cover for the time we paid for the service when we couldn't take advantage of it.

Don't get me wrong, it is pissing us off and it shows poor quality in the manufacturing and even in the whole engineering process, but it's not like it would be a better idea to just put it in the garbage and sell the games as used, and then what? Buy a PS3 that has no games? Buy a PC that will be obsolete as far a new games are concerned in two years, not counting in the fact that I just enjoy playing on a console more than I do playing on PC?

The thing is, once you bought it, you're more or less at the mercy of Lady Luck and Microsoft's customer service.

However, Microsoft will have to work pretty hard to convince people to buy their next consoles in a few years because of the reputation they now have. But hey, people are still buying Fords and Volkswagens cars and both brands have more than their shares of unreliable products, so then again I might be wrong about that last bit and people WILL buy Msoft next product without any apprehension.

Personally, I know I'll probably wait before buying the next generation Xbox console.

WhiskeyJak

Mine died on July 23, and from the day I called Microsoft to the day UPS brought my console back, it was 23 days.

The one I sent in was manufactured on May 31, 2006 and the one they sent back was manufactured on August 3, 2007. Included in the box was a letter apologizing for the long delay to fix my console / please accept this replacement console instead.

I was elated to have a less-than-two-week old 360 and, for the record, it did not have HDMI. The only two differences I notice are: 1. The fan runs at full speed for about two minutes after I shut off the console, and 2. The play and charge cable will not charge when the console is off (on my original 360, it would).

Jmarsh04

btw man, since the warranty is out anyway, if your disk just isn't spinning, a lot of the time its a little white spindle piece that pops off. You can usually just open the drive up (its usually stuck to the top due to it being magnetic) and glue it back on as I said I did. Don't just brick it. Yeah, I've had my console replaced three times already and it's never taken more than a week to get it back. I'm so glad I waited (was too broke) to buy a 360. I'd be furious at this. I can't understand you people who keep getting your system replaced. It's like they are building loyalty out of defective products. If I own anything that I had to replace more then once (which even then would make me angry) I would just hate the company forever and never buy from them again. They got you guys like cigarettes or something.

MJDeviant

I switched from a Sony PS2 fan to a 360 fan due to...well..obvious reasons. However, my PS2 went though a TON of abuse and its still kickin. Granted it wasn't a launch like the ones with the bad lasers and such, but still. Stuff like this makes me think I made the wrong decision. PS3s are built like tanks. Tanks with airconditioning. Ever see the smash PS3 and smash 360 videos. A 360 explodes in a million pieces and the ps3 takes like...4 hammer swings.

Granted mine hasn't RRoD (knock on wood) but the DVD drive has broke, but I took it upon myself to repair it (super glue). Release a new fan or something, and for our trouble make it an LED one that fades or does something shiny to distract us from how PO'd weve been.

CopyPaste

I've heard of some long waits but I sent my console in recently (the end of July/beginning of August) and they sent me a brand spackin' new console 3 days after my broken one reached the repair center. I wasn't getting the RROD, my games were freezing with a checkerboard pattern that was so perfectly illustrated by Brian Ashcrafts image of Gears of War a couple weeks back. The red rings were probably coming shortly. I think it's a your-mileage-may-vary situation.

FelixLighter

Yeah I had to send mine back in for repair today (second time it's happened). Customer support said, "Up to 25 working days from the day we recieve the Xbox from the courier".

Luckily I managed to complete Bioshock before it happened! But damn I hope I get it back before Halo launches

Tachikaze

In concerning 360 repairs taking up to 6 weeks I am betting it depends on the type of repair they have to do. I sent my 360 in for repair 2 weeks ago and already have it back. With albeit a cheap thank you for patients of a 1 month xbox live Gold Subscription card.

pushstartnow13

Quoted return time has been over 6 weeks for a while now in the UK. I figured it has been like that in a lot of places.

That said, people seem to be getting theirs back faster than that and also getting new machines in a lot of cases.

Psychotext

This is my fourth unit I'm waiting on.

First one red ringed.

Second one ate a groove into my Crackdown disk.

Third one overheated my graphics card, and made vertical artifacts appear all over any game I was playing.

I'm pretty much done with Microsoft consoles after I get this one back. I'll just keep it around to play Dead Rising. When it craps out, the multi-platform sequel will hopefully be out and I won't have to worry about it.

PapaBear434

Honestly, this is why after the last send in (which took at least 5 weeks before I saw mine back) I sold my box back. That and my accurate guesses that the price would drop and we'd start seeing new hardware. Figured I'd trade mine in before that happened. Do I miss my 360 while I wait it out? Yes, oh god yes. But it's worth it I think to own a machine that doesn't mess me over every three months. Honestly the part of me that's pissed enough at Microsoft to cry thinks they should just give everyone who has sent theirs in more than twice a box with new hardware and be done with it.

ConstantCupcake

Yeah, I'm aware of this. If mine breaks again around the time halo 3 hits, I'm just going to buy another 360. There's no way I could wait on the side lines for six weeks. You hear that microsoft, if your system breaks down on me again (for the fourth time) I'm going to buy another one!

FuNkYbOsS
