Hm, although this does kinda dilute the 360's offering it will expand the user base - mean if people buy the game and it's valid on the other platform. I'd gladly be able to load the PC to play a game i've bought on my 360 when someone else is on it, or even cross-system play.

Maybe it'll wake people up to xbla on the 360 too.

I have no interest in Bioshock, nor any FPS, which is one of the many reasons why I don't already own a 360. Sure, we know FPS games only account for 11%, but that 11% is what the system is focused on and where it's A-level games are at. Great for some, but it's just not my cup of tea.

Frankly, I hope this gets off the ground, and acts as yet another step in the Live Anywhere initiative. Of course, I seriously doubt that we will get a "buy once, play anywhere" situation, because there is money to be made on double-dipping. I wonder if the upcoming PC version of Uno will take advantage of this.

Realistically, what I hope to see is cross platform play, as well as PC prices for these games approaching those of the 360 versions, and not the $20 or so that many PC casual games cost these days.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that it isn't as easy as just saying "Live Arcade is coming to PC" and then immediately having the entire 360 XBLA catalogue available.

The 360's CPU is based generally on PowerPC architecture, so it would require some minor tweaks and a recompilation at the very least to get a single 360 game across to PC.

They could go the Apple route and make "universal" games henceforth with both binaries in the same package, or they could offer a Windows version and a 360 version separately (which may make sense given the games' 150MB limit).

But what I would guess at happening is that we'll have two separate ecosystems for LA games with a crossover for higher profile titles. It wouldn't surprise me if they fold some of MSN Games into the Windows LA as well.

It (Bioshock) comes in a holo-slip case too. I'm sure West Coast can still get one... seems to be company wide. The register doesn't seem to stop them from selling it.

Well, after looking around the Gamespot/Gamefaqs forume, Toys R Us indeed is already selling Bioshock (damnit, why don't I have a Toys R Us near me...). They also link to this forum post on Neogaf, just scroll down a bit and you can see pics of some people's cases/discs.

And also, that's not an Elite with Madden and Bioshock bundled in (that's what I thought at first).

I want a reason to keep my 360 & PC, but MS keeps giving me a reason to keep my PC and trade in my 360 for a PS3!
Good exclusive games is what decides my console choice and If I can already play 360 games on my PC.. then why in the hell would I waste my one hdmi port on the 360?
