I did, and I agree. A proper movie on tunnel rats could have been awesome and it could've become quite a nice game too. Doesn't sound from this synopsis that this movie will relate much though. And being Boll, I'm sure I'll give it a miss unless he somehow manage to score good reviews this time.

I can't wait for the headlines when he's filming the movie.

Uwe Boll started his descent into madness today, causing five miles worth of pipe damage to the only sewage-line out of Vancouver into the surrounding area. The half-engulfed Boll had this to say:

"Diese tunnel rats in Vietnam are admirable soldiers, so I thought it would be a great idea to bury them waist deep in mud and have them **** on by tiny Asian men. The amazing part is that now we already have a layer of **** to film (read: pile more ****) on! Oh, Wundebar!"

When asked why he'd chosen British Columbia as the setting instead of something suitable, he stared blankly at his fists, now clenching in rage.

We can expect the cutscenes of the game to be from the movie. Tormented German actors from the 70s can be expected to have cameos as the American soldiers and play their own voices ingame.

LOL, by the time the guy escaped for that long he would either A) get spotted by STACAIR (or was it that other 4 letter acryonym?) and picked up by SF, B) rescued by regular American forces, C) get sick, D) get killed by VC, or E) send a letter to the future through a time warp loop contiunuum, forcing UWE BOLL to pick it up and make a friggin movie about it.

Oh hes a major douche bag. He spends most of his time talking about how stupid other movies are during his commentary trying to make his ideas sound superior. At one point in House of the Dead commentary, he compares a scene to a scene from Final Fantasy..... yea.....

My favorite still is in the Alone in the Dark commentary is how he talks about how they got a free PC from a sponsor of the movie they used in the movie, and Uwe broke it, then he talks how he tricked some random guy to buy it off of him for $200.

Yea I watch his movies, but just to rent and listen to his commentary cause this guy is a piece of work.

He's a fairly run-of-the-mill b-list director, unfortunately, no more or less successful than most. Go out and rent some of the other direct-to-DVD titles from the movie store, and there's really not much difference between his work and the next guy down the line. The only difference is that Bolle prefers to work with gaming franchises for some reason... probably just to piss us off at this point. Even his obnoxious personality isn't very different from a lot of the other hacks out there, so... whaddya do?

The problem with gaming news is that cover the things we should ignore, like JT and Bolle. They'd go away a lot faster if we didn't give them free publicity.

Its more fun than actually watching his movies, but the guy is a total creep and spends most of his time in the commentary tracks trashing the critics and video game fans who hate him.
