Well, N needs to do some FPS homework since MP3 ends the Prime series (for now, cash cows never die!)

Wii needs some awesome FPS action - the chips are in place, less of course some extra power the other guys have - but hey - it could still be something that blows up big on Wii.

I think it = good news for moto-man to see stuff like this...I hope he saw the JOY on the faces of those playing - since that is how he judges.

Shooting like a madman and killing bad guys in brutal fashion puts a smile on my face. Maybe I should youtube that and send it to him.

It's even more interesting that Haze is made by a lot of the guys who used to be from Rare back when they were a Nintendo 2nd party dev. And worked on Goldeneye. I've read interviews about Rare saying Nintendo would come and look at thier works in progress and they'd be working on a game they wanted to be big and epic and Nintendo would say something like that's great, buuut can you do it for a quarter of the money, and they just wouldn't get anything done. Not that that is Myamoto's fault at all (that Yamouchi guy who was CEO of Nintendo was bats#1t crazy) I love the guy, but I'd just be curious to see what he thinks of what they do now on a bigger budget

He is obviously looking for any thing other than graphics to see what the hardcore gamer wants. He is a designer to the core he is only over rated if you don't understand what designers do. He is not there to make your fantasy he is there to make his fantasy and get huge sales from it. When you find some one that has made as many super cute things and games that grown men hate yet still he some how sells way above what the nay sayers believe he should sale then let me know cuz I would like to learn from him too.

I do like this aspect of E3 as well. The ability to check out the competition, chat with them, pick their brains, and in a casual manner; this is something I really wish we had in my industry. It makes for better games, more competition, and perhaps some friendly rivalries. Developers can go check out another studio's game, be unimpressed or disappointed, and talk to the developer to discuss their angle on the game for more understanding. Miyamoto checking out Haze looks funny, but I hope a lot of developers went over to his booth to discuss his games as well. I'm not diggin' the hair, but I'm sure there's a lot of insight to gain from talking to the guy.
