Been looking forward to this title for a long time. The art style seems inspired by Hergé's Tintin which gives it that unique European flavor. It would be nice to keep the japanese voice acting intact, but with Nintendo publishing it's highly unlikely.

I hope the first game does well so the (planned) trilogy will make its way overseas.

Fun Fact: Layton's sidekick Luke is voiced by the lovely actress/idol Maki Horikita, who played Aoi Yamada in Densha Otoko.

I'm so happy Nintendo decided to release this, I've been intrigued ever since I first saw it. I just hope it sells quite well (if it's good), because I'd like to see more offbeat games being given a chance. If it flops the chances of some of the other unreleased games making it over here falls.

Its a great game, excellent voice acting, and fun puzzles.

Plus the artwork and music was just as expected from another quality Level5 game. :)

Those who have not played the J version be sure to pick up the US one when it comes out. Its a nice little distraction from the normal game genre.

i played the japanese version, helped by my japanese knowledge and some gamefaqs guide for some puzzle trough the game, and i really had a good time...i'm happy to see it'll be released in the us and i hope also in eu...
