From what I remember the PS3 can actually support 7 controllers (the limit for the Bluetooth spec). Plus, your PS3 comes with a controller, so that would actually make a total of 5 if you bought 4.

I just hope they get this put in soon. It would be pretty sweet if it was a true next-gen force-feedback instead of just two motors with weights attached.

Simply put, Sony tried to skirt the copyright with Immersion because they have a patent on basically ANY feedback device in controllers.

If it has an osculating motor with an off balance weight, Immersion owns the patent. Sony didn't like that, tried to design their own, and got sued.

Important thing is, we have it now (or will.)

Nintendo released the original DS and a lot of people complained about the design. They changed it and launched the DS Lite. People "had" to buy another handheld, but few complained about this.
