Instead of spending an extra day with my Fiancée I decided to book the tickets a day later and spend a day passive aggressively torturing a friend that works at game until he'd let me use his staff discount to buy my Fiancée a DS lite, but my mother? I think she got to the first boss in Sonic when I had a master system, that's about all on her gaming resume.

Tarks

I just Bought My Mom a Pink DS Lite and a copy of Club House Games. The last time she was at my house she stayed up till 2am playing one of the puzzle game. If your in Canada EB Games has an insane deal that if you trade in 6 games that have a trade in value of $8 or more you get the DS for free!

Kinburn

This is meant to be informal.
And to "bring" somebody "ins Spiel" is a German proverb, which just means to bring somebody or someone into something, or to introduce them to something. It must have nothing to do with a actual Game. But since in this case it has it is actually nice wordplay.
It's been a while since my last German class, so maybe someone can clear this up for me - shouldn't Deine be Ihre, the formal posessive? Or is this OK and meant to be informal?

My parents are older, and have absolutely no interst in gaming. Although we did get my Dad to enjoy Tenacious D.

Dervish

Then realised, alls well as we had ours in March. That £10 is saved for another year.~~

The Boy Least Likely

you know funny story, but both my mother and my fiance's mom now have a DS and play them religiously. My mom plays a few games and Brian Age, while my Fiance's mom is all into Puzzle Quest right now. And they are not young. My moms 60.

So before anyone here comments about what kind of mom would want a DS, you would be surprised.

Falconfire
