Before my browser was able to load the screens, judging from my title, I thought it sounded like a game based on the 360 bricking fiasco.

In other news, I'm with Fahey in that I'd love to see a flashy Arkanoid update. And in concurrence with some of the previous posts, I also think that the DS mic isn't sensitive enough to make blowing a vital element of gameplay.

fecalchaos

Okay, no more blowing games. During Cooking Mama there are times when I almost passed out. That's not something fun to explain to the people around you.

miss_ali1984

@f4nt: When this happens to me, I'll brush at the case a few times like I'm trying to clear away some schmutz then take a big huff at it. It'll do the trick for those games where it happens once in awhile, but you're still doomed for the titles that apparently need CPR.

At least most developers are finally letting up on cramming every system feature into stupid unnecessary gameplay gimmicks.

bluemeep

In France, there's a big buzz surrounding Nervous Brickdown. Its Paris-based developer, Arkedo Studio, is a team of only three guys working in a place that used to be a small garage. Whatever the sales figures of their DS release, it is likely to be more than rewarding for all three of them.

Yanko

I hate blowing into the mic. It's bad enough playing the DS in public, and having people look at me weird when I start screaming random obscenities. I'm just too insecure to be blowing my big blue DS in public. Maybe that's just me...

f4nt

That game pretty cool, I will consider getting it but for now I have Alleyway for my old Gameboy and I still play it occasionally, it's pretty fun.

Aftershock14520

I thought it was established that the blowing-in-the-mic mechanic was stale and an early DS thing? Hopefully it's not something that interrupts gameplay too much, otherwise it sounds like it could hurt things more than anything. Or maybe it's because I have the old DS where the mic is out of the way.
I'd also pay good money for a flashy version of Arkanoid on the DS.

I'd also likely stop coming in to work on time.

tslothrop
