Why not? The industry has made games based on Greek, Roman, Buddhist, Shinto, Taoist, Native American, Persian, etc. mythology. Why is it not ok to make a game based on Christian mythology. Can't be offensive if you have angels fighting demons. It doesn't go against the message of non-violence Jesus preached to man. Men aren't angels.

Or, if they do, it will be by companies like Left Behind Games or Wisdom Tree; christian based game companies. The market is very niche and games produced from them seem to have no mass market appeal. It seems like even christians as a whole won't support such games. Also, the mainstream tends to shy away from anything that appears too religious, lots of potential lawsuits there. So, until being kind to your fellow man, peaceful conversion, and demonslaying that isn't Doom inspired become vogue, I don't think we can expect to see anything akin to what you metion come to light.

I just couldn't help but laugh, though, when matches are over and the game proudly displays stuff like "Jesus Wins!" or "God Wins!" XD I really loved the smooth animation and backgrounds. Rarely is visual quality and detail like this seen in flash games, or movies.

Jesus's cross move takes like four years to pull off and Satan's attacks are a little too easy to dodge, but for a flash game it's not half bad.

I don't see this getting Jack'd though, as aside from the premise, it's pretty tame.
