I think Chris Ayra (Berzerk World Champion) is fastest.
Twin Galaxies have the same setup for Perfect Pitfall, also most games where the maximum possible score has been reached by multiple players.

From what I remember, Puck was the original title. When it was released here in the states, it wasn't changed. You then got arcade machines where people would scratch off parts of the P and you would get _uckman instead. Whoever distributed the title in the US later changed the name to Pac Man instead.

You can always get a DOA Hori stick and mod it with an octagonal plate and four-way operation by Sanwa. That would make Pac Man sweet.

And to those confused about Puck Man, it was the original name in Japan, changed due to fears that American teens would edit part of the P to make it vulgar.

The original Atari cart was worth LESS than $5. If you're talking the 2600 version it was one of the worst ports in history and was responsible, alongside ET, for nearly torpedoing the entire concept of home video games.

Five bucks for a modern-age playable, arcade-accurate Pac-Man is none too shabby. ...although the lower left pac on that Namco flyer scares me for his phallic nose and his drug abuse.
