Heh, I'm a bit embarrased to say (I just turned 21, and I am a man [A manny man man]) I bought one about a week ago with my $100 gift certificate to Play Asia.com (was part of Sparkle Motion, won Digital Overload's GoW tourney, got $100 worth of (Play) Asian stuff).

I'm not really sure it's tamagotchi-like though, as I can't read the Japanese instructions. It seems to peep and flap randomly of you tilt it back, and shuts off after a few min. of inactivity.

It's still damn cute though.

Thanks for the tip Ojo, I would've thought these would be at least $30 US but with shipping it came to $18ish US.

Yeah the actual cost is only $12 dollars!

I'm weak, there's my impulse buy for the week (unless i pick up Guitar Hero 360)
