well the savage fanbase has grown and we pretty much have weeded out the griefers.

plus, if there are griefers, we can always just kick em.

i cant wait for beta.

also, the S2 staff is amazing, always on IRC or on the forums..they always keep in touch. Ubisoft and EA support will never be this good

SwampRaider

Wait, if you have minimum karma servers, doesn't that mean that as soon as you start the game you have to fight your way through griefers to get to the game as intended? Not sure this is the experience they're really looking to offer.

Merusdraconis

I too think it's really good to see a sequel to this game with better execution. It was a terrific concept.
I purchased the first Savage days after release at the behest of a friend. And I never regretted it.

Granted the game had it's flaws, but it was definitely fun. So much so that I actually purchased Savage 2 from S2Games website last year when the beta was supposed to hit in the summer (and pre-purchasers automatically get beta entry).

Obviously that's been a little delayed, but I'll always take a delay over a rushed product (except for DNF, I'm looking at you). Still very much looking forward to giving this game a spin. Can't wait to see the changes from the first.

aC

The concept of the original Savage was absolutely brilliant, but I stayed away from it because all of the reviews I read for it made it out to be pretty mediocre. With the sequel, it sounds like they're on the right track to make an excellent game, and I'm pretty excited to see the results.

Yoshi3gg

I loved the first game despite its flaws because it was really something different and epic. It kept me busy for months.

I think Savage 2 has the potential to be the greatest independent game ever made. Let's hope it delivers!

zealousd

U know what I instantly love about the game? Although their UI looks very similar to WoW, they at least went through the trouble of moving the location of things to at least help make it look original.

Instead of other games who choose to copy the UI almost to look exactly like WoW including where the map and buttons are.

Justcrim

Savage for me is a game that keeps me up at night, thinking about how pure it is in concept and design. In many ways it's a game that i wish always was. I used to play BF42 competitvely (D2D if anyone else was into that) and i always wished we could just have one guy not playing but his whole job was to coordinate the stuff.

Here's hoping they nail it. This unholy blending of genre's could be amazing.

Stujiro
