Oh man, this game looks really good. It does almost make me want to get a 360...

If I had a PS3 right now I'd be mad. Conventional wisdom would suggest that the best JRPGs would come out on the system Japanese people actually buy, right?

Eternal Sonata is such a generic name and had I not known of this game's apparent beauty, pedigree and greatness I would definitely not blind buy it.

They should have kept the name Trusty Bell.

Update:
I just read up on it some more, and it does look like a very interesting game. I couldn't play it though. Little girls with terminal illnesses? That's too sad. Interesting path for the medium, however, it's nice to have a game coming out that may make you feel something.

It may also make a good game for patients of terminal illnesses, provided the man character(s), do not die. Maybe it would give people who suffer from the same things hope.

Wow. Ditto on the originality...and interesting they announce its Westernization now, during what I have in the last hour learned is National Tuberculosis Week. (In all likelihood this was pure coincidence...unless everyone was aware of Nat'l TB Week but me?) I hope it really does make me cry. I like games that wrench an emotional reaction out of you other than "!$*@ pallies are so overpowered!" or "See that? See that? There, it's canon. Axel SO wants Roxas."

I really don't know what this game is about so I won't hate/love on it, but I'll just say that holy damn that is a colorful picture. It's like God himself vomited on canvas.

Thank god that they've already promised this game to us Westerners. Let's hope they stay true to their word.

All of the videos and screens from this seem to literally take my breath away. For me, this is what cel-shading was supposed to be when they came up with the idea. Finally, execution caught up with concept.

This kind of oddball, freaky Japanese RPG is why I loved the PS2... if this keeps up, I'll end up having to get a 360 someday. Any chance this'll get ported to a system that Japanese people own?

Thanks. I knew the history of it, but thought that since Hatsushiba was in charge (and the name) it was an independent sound design firm. It seems odd to me that he would make a full-fledged game dev (I thought Tri-Ace did BK, to explain).

This game looks wonderful.

I've been debating wither to get an Xbox 360 or ps3 first (I'm sure eventually I'll own both), but the Japanese RPGs coming out for the 360 look pretty enticing. I may have to pick up a 360 first (and the price don't hurt much either)

I am not dependent on shiny graphics, but MAN, I gotta say, those people sure know how to craft a beautiful looking game. Baten Kaitos was also a beautiful game. Sounds unique, too.

I'll definitely have to check this game out if I own an X360 in the future.

And good thing my boyfriend will be moving here soon, and will be bringing his 360. The game looks nice, and has an interesting story... plus classical music. Can't beat that. I'll probably buy it.
