I don't get the insistance on feeling guilty over killing the colossi. Granted, they're big majestic creatures, and some of them don't seem to bear any ill will against the protagonist. Killing them allows their power/spirits to recombine into the demi-god at the end though, and it seems that that is what the demi-god wanted. Even then, the demi-god is shortly killed. You can't feel guilty about killing the critters because that's what the demi-god wanted, and you can't feel guilty about releasing the demi-god because he didn't really escape anyway. If anything, the protagonist is just a tool, so feel bad about enabling him. Also, you got to play a pretty game in the process. Win.
