Consoles are the shttest of shit tier tech. If something's running at 60fps on it, it's running on a technically shit engine. That, and the fact the only assets in the game are those loaded in the current tunnel the player is in. And it runs at 1280x720 resolution.

It looks good, I DEFINATELY wouldn't say it looks gorgeous. Effects look like they came out of the PS2 era, animations are wooden at best, textures are... well. But yes, the lighting and shadows and shit are definately fairly pretty, for such an old engine, it looks well, but it's definately showing it's age.

But please don't keep pulling out the "but it's running at 60fps on consoles!", so what? I can run it at around 150fps uncapped. At 1920x1080 resolution. With forced AA. I dread to think how many fps I would get by setting the resolution down to console level and turning off AA. DeadEndThrills also did the same thing, on a PC, so don't use his pictures as comparison.

I'm hoping the next QOTSA album is a bit more, well, classic QOTSA, don't get me wrong, LTP and Era Vulgaris are good album, but for me, the highlight of the QOTSA era was the first three albums, and I'm not saying that because of the Nick Oliveri stuff, hell he was barely involved with the first album! But I'm hoping, now that they've toured the first album, and helped out elsewhere, they're ready to go back to the studio, and just deliver something more hard hitting.

If you're incapable of recognizing that the directory tree resembles the install directory for GTA4, you probably shouldn't be toying with this mod anyway. Also, if your video card isn't up to muster, this mod uses tweaks that would circumvent any monitoring/warning system and could easily burn out your video card into a chunk of fried silicon.

I'm afraid to run it on my decent rig as it is right now

It's a problem on both sides, not just the guys. Japanese girls seem to have a real desire for money and older guys, so it leaves a lot of guys without a chance. Wages in Japan aren't high, and talent only gets you so far in Asian companies (it's mostly seniority).
