Gamespot received a tip from one of their readers who says that EA and Harmonix are planning a Wii version of their game Rock Band, previously announced for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360.

The anonymous Gamespot tipster also revealed some preliminary information on the game's peripherals, including details on Rock Band's drum kit controller, as well as early pricing speculation. According to the focus test the reader participated in, a retail price between $150 and $200 is likely to be considered for the game's guitar, mic and drum bundle. No mention of a gong or cowbell controller... yet.

$200 may be a little bit pricey, but I know I'll still drop the cash on it. There's no way I can resist this one. Michael McWhertor
