Big, powerful cable/broadband provider Comcast is getting its game on. Today, the Pennsylvania-based company launches GameInvasion.net, an news aggregator previously available only to Comcast's High-Speed customers. What's more, the site will Major League Gaming's television program, MLG Pro Circuit, as well as interviews and tips from the Ubisoft recruited, pro-gaming Frag Dolls. PHILADELPHIA, PA (December 5, 2006) — Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment and communications products and services, today announced the national launch of GameInvasion.net - an online site offering a rich entertainment experience for hard core gaming enthusiasts.

Comcast has signed an agreement with Major League Gaming (MLG), the world's first professional video game league, to distribute MLG's television show, MLG Pro Circuit, on GameInvasion.net and on Comcast's signature ON DEMAND service. GameInvasion.net will also feature exclusive interviews and tips from the Frag Dolls, a team of professional female gamers recruited by Ubisoft to promote multiplayer competition and women in games, as well as videos, news and reviews from G4 Television, GameTrailers.com and IGN.

Game Invasion was previously available only to Comcast's High-Speed Internet customers and is now being made available to consumers everywhere at www.gameinvasion.net. Comcast's 8Mbps High-Speed Internet subscribers will continue to receive the added value of a free membership to the IGN Founders' Club, a premium gaming package.
