Previously, Kotaku reported that a Japanese artist named Rokudenashiko was trying to make a name for herself with her vagina art. She even made a "pussy boat." With her art, she said she was attempting to break down Japanese taboos about female genitalia as evident in the t-shirt she's wearing in the above photo.

According to Mainichi News, one of the country's largest papers, the 42 year-old Rokudenashiko, whose real name is Megumi Igarashi, was arrested for allegedly breaking Japanese obscenity laws by sending 3D printer data of her scanned genitalia via email to over thirty people in Japan. (Obscenity laws are not restricted to a woman's genitalia, but also include male private parts as well.)

Those who contributed to her vagina boat crowdfunding project could get 3D scanned data of Rokudenashiko's privates. Using this data, Mainichi reports, it's possible to print out her vagina via a 3D printer.

"I don't think this is obscene," Rokudenashiko is quoted as saying by the police.

Late last month, the artist uploaded her latest creation: Gundaman (ガンダまん) or, loosely, "Gundam Pussy."
