After a six-year hiatus, Microsoft is ready to ride the rails once more, announcing a new version of Train Simulator in the works. They've put up a teaser site with the heading, "There's a New Train Comin'". The game will be built by Aces Studio using the same technology they used to develop Flight Simulator X. Not much more information as of yet, but there are links on the page to blogs from the developers who seem genuinely excited about the project, and promise much more information to come.

I just hope the terrorists don't get ahold of this software once it is released and use it to teach their forces how to drive a train into a building. Michael Fahey
