So, there's a King of Fighters game coming out! Hooray! It might be different from what you are expecting.
KOF diehards will be quick to point out that SNK Playmore has strayed from formula for King of Fighters games in the past. Heck, there's been a King of Fighters shooting game for goodness sake!
As website GameMeca (via tipster Sang) points out, King of Fighters is getting a multiplayer online beta arena game called King of Fighters Online. The game was originally announced in 2009 as an online RPG for PC. According to 4Gamer, that game never seems to have gotten release.
The title's developer, Dragonfly, just revealed a revamped King of Fighters: Online, which will go into closed beta in Thailand by the end of the year.
