Drakengard 3 (Or as it's known in Japan, Drag-On Dragoon 3), the 10th anniversary celebration of the original Drakengard is gearing up for its release this autumn. To get fans excited, Square Enix has been steadily releasing new information on the game to keep them interested.
The latest character introduced in this week's Weekly Famitsu is the protagonist Zero's younger sister, Four. Four, like Zero, is an "Utautai;" a divine being who can use magic through the power of song. Her character bio also states that she, unlike her sisters, is a virgin.
Four's bio (translated from Japanese) is as follows:
She is the fifth of the Utautai sisters and governs the mountain country. She speaks and acts with grace and has the refined personality of a good listener. But behind her prim and stiff personality hides a twisted inferiority complex. Much like the other Utautai, she possesses a high sex drive, but due to her repressed personality, she has never been able to act upon it and, among her sisters, is the only virgin.
I'm not exactly sure how her sexual status will play into the game system or plot, but okay… If nothing else, it should serve as fuel for doujinshi writers.
Drakengard 3 is scheduled for release in Japan on Halloween (Oct 31st). No word on a western release yet.
