The Korean MMO fighting game TAPA Online, from developer Gameneap, has hit Taiwan in a closed beta that started on 26 April and will be running through 8 May. Taiwanese publisher Unalis has won worldwide publishing rights, and says that the English language beta is still in the works, and will be confirmed after the Chinese version draws to a close - so look for that soon.

I think this game is notable mostly for it's EEEEE! SO CUTE! character design, something I don't say often about fighting games, but it's been creating something of a buzz for its fun and easy to pick up and learn game play. Maggie Greene
