Take a look-see.

If you look closely at this set of screenshots for Deep Silver and Koch Media's Prison Break game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, you will indeed see a prison. Delve further, and you might catch a glimpse of a man trying to break out of said prison. Looks like developer Zootfly completely nailed this one!

<![CDATA[Prison Break: The Video Game Busts Out]]> Another piece of licensed flotsam recovered from the crash of Brash Entertainment have been recovered, as Deep Silver and Koch Media announce, officially, the video game version of Fox's Prison Break.

Slovenian developer Zootfly, made famous for their work on Panzer Elite Action and that Ghostbusters video game concept, will be the ones responsible for the Prison Break game. It's due to be released on PC and "next generation consoles." Which, we assume, actually means current generation consoles, like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game was unofficially announced last summer, via a Prison Break DVD insert. Then the Brash "business" model went to pot and left developer Zootfly in the lurch. Now everything's just peachy again.

Prison Break, the video game, will put players in the lace-less shoes of Tom Paxton in a storyline that runs parallel to the television show's first season.

<![CDATA[Zootfly Signs Up Mr. T For Some Video Game Jibber Jabber]]> Listen up, fools! ZootFly and Mr. T have formed a licensing A-Team, announcing that the developer will create a series of games "packed with the trademark over-the-top adrenaline-pumping action of Mr. T." Don't do drugs!

ZootFly's first game will pit the mohawked one against Nazis, obviously, bustin' up the gigantic machines of the Third Reich in "South American rain forests, lost ancient cities, industrial complexes and contemporary military installations." Mr. T will joined by SimCity and Spore designer Will Wright, who's trading in his game design skills for genetic engineering skills. Unfortunately, Wright's been kidnapped by them no good Nazis and T's gotta help. Expect to pity those Nazi fools.

According to ZootFly's announcement, each and every game will feature "knuckle-whitening action-adventure, furious brawler combat, gravity-defying platforming, and environmental puzzles." That's right, Jack! Environmental puzzles, sucka!

Whatever these Mr. T games will be called and whether Wright's actually signed off on having his likeness in the T-rated games, they'll be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and PC. Stay in school!

<![CDATA[Two Devs Sue Brash For Not Paying Up]]> Brash Entertainment are no more. It's OK, your grief will pass. While you're waiting, know that two developers working with the now-defunct publisher are suing the company. 7 Studios - who were working on a game called 9, based on a cartoon produced by Tim Burton - are suing because Brash owe them $581,000. The other studio suing is Zootfly, who claim Brash owe them $748,000 for the Prison Break game they were working on. You may remember Zootfly from their Ghostbusters pitch last year. Oh Brash. They didn't live with dignity, guess it'd be too much to be expecting they die with some.

<![CDATA[Dan Aykroyd Talks Ghostbusters Game]]> STEPPIN' OUTBoy, the upcoming Ghostbusters game already has quite the storied, confusing history—especially for a game that hasn't been announced. Let's recap quickly. YouTube videos surface. Fearing further disappointment in life, we doubt they're real. Turns out they are. We rejoice. Then, Sony supposedly pulls the plug.

Now, it appears that the game is indeed on, regardless of whether current developer Zootfly is at the helm. According to Dan Aykroyd (aka the Ghostbuster's Dr. Ray Stantz):

Universal purchased the rights from Sony for a game. I'm actually going to have to perform and do some motion capture for them. That will be next year.

Well, that about wraps that up. A Ghostbusters game is coming, but not before some time next year, if Aykroyd's dates are to be believed.

<![CDATA[Live Arcade Toy Wars Screens Emerge]]> ZootFly, the developer behind the Ghostbusters game videos that caused a minor sensation earlier this week, has gifted XBL Arcade with exclusive screens of their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, Toy Wars.
No details as to what exactly the game is about, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess some kind of war involving toys. While the screens smack of an Army Men game or perhaps Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, I have to admit that I have a soft spot for any game that lets you play as a small protagonist in a big world. Perhaps being 6 foot 6 has something to do with that. Hit the link below for a more images!

<![CDATA[Ghostbusters 360 Sort Of Confirmed]]>

Well the good news is that developer ZootFly has confirmed with IGN that the Ghostbusters game footage that saw heavy circulation yesterday was in fact actual footage from an Xbox 360 game they are developing. Unfortunately the game is currently on hold due to licensing issues the company is actively working to resolve, so there is no projected release date for the game, or really any guarantee that it will see the light of day whatsoever.

I wouldn't be surprised if the leak itself were in fact manufactured in order to further the developer's cause. Would be a rather canny move on their part if it were. The response from the gaming community has been pretty overwhelming. Most of you want the game made. ZootFly wants the game made. Hell, I want the game made. The only obstacle remains Ghostbusters' legendarily complicated rights ownership...also one of the main reasons we haven't seen a Ghostbusters 3 yet.
