I definately agree about the single player, I've played it by myself before and wont be doing so again. I've played online multiplayer and it's just not worth my time but if you have friends who like these kinds of games inviting them over makes for a lot of fun, definately the best way to play the game.
I have to strongly disagree about the weapons. I think the rocket launcher is one of the best in the game and I hate using the flamethrower. My favorite weapon in the game is the gatling gun though, I'm invincible with that thing. Ultimately I think it's a matter of play style as some of my friends cant stand having the rocket launcher but love the flamethrower. That just means local multiplayer is even better since you can let people who are good with a certain weapon use that one. Also, the environmental kills? Love them. Not on all levels mind you but on most levels they make things much easier for me and greatly increase my score. I dont think it's poorly designed so much as it doesnt work very well in single player but in a local multiplayer game it's easy to decimate zombies with a semi-coordinated attack. #zombieapocalypse
I can never ever find a game online, and if I make one myself no one seems to join. Not to mention none of my friends have bought it as well. I'm around level 35 I think, it's gratingly boring.
Those "Princess" infected can go to hell too. Oh and those Grannies.
Homing knives, wtf?
Oh and you've got to love the blatant rip-off character designs from L4D
@AndyMatronic: I have no idea why this says I edited your comment. I absolutely didn't. I approved it because I thought it was worth reading. Just covering my ass for the record. #zombieapocalypse
@Owen Good: I know I was wondering why it said that. I basically just edited the bit about the L4D ripoffs 10 seconds after I posted it and maybe because you approved it, that's why it says you're the editor.
I really hope the online modes get fixed though. My friends said they'd buy it but I'm still waiting :(
At 800 points I don't think it's TOO bad. As a multiplayer game it's pretty solid fun but as a single player game it's dull and incredibly difficult. It's still an alright game though. #zombieapocalypse
This game's value is entirely dependent on whether or not you're gonna play local multiplayer. Online multiplayer is iffy, and it's not always easy to find people to play the game with you for long periods of time (to set high scores). And yeah, it's just not meant to be played single player.
And the weapons balance? I think you need to just step your game up Owen :P The sniper rifle is effective when fired into crowd, and it's good for clearing out the fat guys who take tons of damage to kill. The rocket launcher is invaluable in clearing out crowds, because of it's enormous explosion radius. It's not good for enemies that are close to you, but that's what your teammates are for.
Also, gatling gun flamethrower. The flamethrower is far too dangerous to use against grannies (they throw deadly knives from a distance) and the kamikazes. Kamikazes have a large explosion radius that's almost as large as the flamethrowers reach.
I'm 26 on the leaderboards for local multiplayer :) (atleast I think I'm still there, used to be at 14...) #zombieapocalypse

I love ZA. It's a game of reflex, endurance, and high scores. The kind of game we all used to plug quarter after quarter into in hope of seeing one more level or getting our score one point higher than before. Not even the great Crimsonland could really capture that feeling.
The only real "hate" I have for this game is that lag in multiplayer is a death sentence once the grannies and construction workers start appearing en masse. It basically becomes impossible at that point if one of the players has a slow connection. #zombieapocalypse
You can get this game Done Right (but only local play available, and only lasts the length of a song, though the song is beyound Awesome, and it is only "a dollar") in the X-Box 360 Live Indie Game "I MAED A GAM3 WITH ZOMBIES!!!!!1".
Of cource you also avoid a weapon in that, the laser, but every other weapon rules, though the best is the Green one. You'll know what I mean.

My husband and I *loved* The Warriors game on XBox1. Having a good story with real character development, great voice acting, and a detailed world (visually and audibly--those hobos were hilarious!) to explore in same-screen co-op was a very worthwhile experience.
I would totally play it again as a downloadable episodic series, with updated graphics and lossless (24-bit, if possible) audio. Watchmen: The End is Nigh just wasn't able to pull it off for us, namely be cause of the irritating split-screen co-op and lack of exploration.
This is the first I've read about Ion Assault, and the YouTube trailers look amazing, but I can't help but think that it's going to bomb given the "high" XBLA price and being in what is a pretty competitive market for this sort of game.
Three good releases enough for me to check out the demos at least, so I'll get at least an hour or two free fun time out of this week's XBLA games. Zombie Apocalypse is the most appealing of the bunch going in, mainly because it's near impossible to screw up "shoot zombies."
@Curse lily: What exactly was wrong with the warriors? I'm -still- pissed that it's one of the handful of games that wont play on my 360, if it did I'd still be playing it to this day.

Why would PSN users get it on Friday? Aren't the store updates always on Thursday, hence why they have to wait 2 extra days for Rock Band songs each week?
EDIT: Yeah, the 23rd is Wednesday, and the 24th is Thursday. This isn't noteworthy at all. PSN updates on thursdays, this is what happens every single time both platforms get a downloadable game release.
Why is that in the title? Its bound to start flame wars, and is a known fact, since PSN ALWAYS updates on Thrusdays, while Xbox Live Mostly updates on Wednesday. All in all, I thought the title was misleading, making people believe that the developers love the Xbox more, since its being released on it first, even though it doesn't have anything to do with the release date.
@Cheesus(Crust): XBL Marketplace updates every day. All you have to do is look at the Marketplace on xbox.com. Magic: The Gathering DLC was released on a Saturday. Guitar Hero DLC is released on Thursdays. Arcade games on Wednesdays. Rock Band DLC Tuesdays. Lips DLC Fridays. Various stuff comes filters out the other three days (Saturday-Monday). It's not a once-a-week gigantic update like PSN, but it updates as content becomes available.

-The games was way to linear.
-Simple and boring controls scheme.
-Repetitive gameplay.
-average graphics.
And in all, i think that you need to be a SERIOUS fan of the movie to like this game...something which i'm not.
