Currently the owner of a meat house chain, the bikini model was the former "face character" for SEGA Japan. She also claims to be from outer space and speaks with a phony high pitched voice! (Supposedly this is her real voice.)

A Japanese TV clip shows the customization possibilities for PS3 exclusive White Knight Chronicles — that yes, it's even possible to make a Yuko Ogura avatar. That, after the jump.

Everyone is very impressed and says the in-game version looks just like the real Ogura. Agree?

<![CDATA[Former SEGA Idol Opens Meat House]]> Swimsuit model and space alien Yuko Ogura is no longer the face of SEGA. The current "image character" is Satomi Ishihara, and Ogura's moved onto better things! Like being a "Live Face" mask model or being on TV sometimes and saying things. Look! Ogura now has a chain or Korean BBQ restaurants. I spotted one earlier today. Not sure if this is the kinda place I'd buy raw meat from to cook. And literally fifteen paces from the Ogura meat house?

Eds Note: To bring everyone up to speed, Yuko Ogura was a two-time SEGA "image character" and even appeared in a SEGA produced kids' show. Ogura claimed to be from an apple-shaped star called Korin, but has since shyed away from that nutty claim realizing that people don't take seriously girls who say they're aliens. SEGA has since replaced Ogura with the more normal Satomi Ishihara.

<![CDATA[Now Selling Schoolgal Uniforms For Dudes]]> New SEGA "image character" Satomi Ishihara is kinda dull. Her predecessor, space alien Yuko Ogura? Fascinating. To bring everyone up to speed, Yuko Ogura was a two-time SEGA "image character" and even appeared in a SEGA produced kids' show. Ogura claimed to be from an apple-shaped star called Korin, but has since shyed away from that nutty claim realizing that people don't take seriously girls who say they're aliens. SEGA has since replaced Ogura with the more normal Ishihara. Still, Ogura makes perfect non-news fodder. Because remember: Once a SEGA spokesperson, always a SEGA spokesperson! Last time we checked in on Ogura, her image was being used as a "LIVE MASK." This time? Her likeness is being used on schoolgirl uniform costumes... For men.

<![CDATA[Former Sega Campaign Girl "Live Face" Mask]]> Just because space cadet Yuko Ogura is no longer Sega's "image character" doesn't mean we can't post non-news about her. Oh no. Once a SEGA spokesperson, always a SEGA spokesperson! Above is a an official Yuko Ogura LIVE MASK. Just take a gander at that! Are you creeped out? We are totally creeped out. And it takes a lot to creep us out.

<![CDATA[SEGA's New Spokesmodel]]> The SEGA "image character" daisy-chain goes something like this: MEGUMI, Yuko Ogura (twice) and now Satomi Ishihara. Ishihara is best know for her work in Pocky commercials. Well, that's how I know her. She'll be appearing in TV spots, on the SEGA website and on posters and banners. About her predecessors: bikini model and actress MEGUMI is sassy and opinionated, while fellow model and weirdo Yuko Ogura is annoying, claiming to be from outer-space. Ishihara is cute but seems, well, kind of bland. Same goes for SEGA's new arcade slogan: "Welcome to SEGA... With Smile." Wonder how long it took the marketing wizards to come up with that one.

<![CDATA[Sega Idoru Eats Sega Cake]]>

We were so worried! It's been months, literally MONTHS, since we last heard from our favorite irritating freakazoid Yuko Ogura. But, here she is, promoting Sega stuff and celebrating her birthday. Know that this event took place on yesterday, and Ogura's birthday is November 1st. (No way, she'd get caught dead at Sega on her actual b-day!) Yuko, who claims to be from outer space, played the piano and did a few numbers from her Sega-sponsored TV show. And those moppets in Love and Berry clothes? Droids, all of 'em.
