Adam really deserves a thumbs-up, hats-off, or whatever other manner of congratulatory gesticulation is commonly used in your culture.
(In my country, we clap our ass cheeks together - OK, not really, I'm the only one who does that, but I'm trying to start a new custom here! I won't lie to you: it isn't catching on quite as fast as I'd hoped.)
How can there be fewer than 0 videogame consoles in a graveyard? Are they negative consoles? Do they take videogames away from you? But how could they do that if you don't have any in the first place? :)
I'd love to see a Lightspeed multi-tap...the year in comments. Twould be a sight!
I bought Geometry Wars 2, Soul Calibur, Super Street Fighter 2 HD, and about 220 Rock Band songs on Live this year. And then my console RROD'd on Saturday as I first booted up Prince of Persia. Boo-urns.
im hoping Capcom continues doing remakes of their older arcade games. especially the beat em ups like Captain Commando and Final Fight. and they gotta redo Strider. i say give it the Bionic Commando treatment and do an Arcade title and a game for next-gen consoles. one of the coolest video game characters of all time and hes only starred in 2 games. one that sucked (Strider 2)
@Jason *Jaxel* Axelrod: Good try, mate. I love Sony, but I won't claim their store superior until we get demos of every game and worldwide release on at least 80% of the content.
@Jason *Jaxel* Axelrod: I honestly own both an Xbox 360 and a Playstation 3, and I can say with 100% confidence that PSN doesn't have the number, quality or diversity of online downloadable games as Xbox Live Arcade.
That said, PSN does have Rampart, and I absolutely love that game.
@Dead Giveaway: i think the words you were looking for is diversity. and that is why he is right about PSN. it has a more diverse library of games, and it has more original ones to play. it isnt an opinion, it's a fact. them being fun may be opinion, but there is always at least one game that everyone will like, wether it's pain, buzz, wipeout, linger in shadows, that game from the katamari devs, pixeljunk monsters/eden, and everyday shooter. each game on there tends to someone's likes or dislikes. diversity is key.
@greeble: Would've loved a DEMO of the thing, but I will prolly pick it up for some multiplayer-action before Fat Princess hits. Just no PS3 over Christmas :(

This one pretty much wins all of 2008 as far as I'm concerned.

I wish, however, that Sony would copy the 360 in allowing people trials of all of their downloadable games.
I would also wish for more downloadable games on the PSN, instead of seeing weekly updates of songs to Rockband. It's getting old.
Live Arcade is the only real sellingpoint on the 360 for me. Microsoft is doing good there.
