Will be interesting to see if Amazon controls the prices of these or not. Amazon has great sales from time to time, but since they aren't competing with anyone else to sell these I wouldn't be surprised if the prices stay identical to, or are even sometimes higher than the usual xbla marketplace prices.
Amazon slipped up, or something. Me and a few fellas at the halo.bungie.org IRC channel snatched 1600 MS Points card for 20 cents each code. After 8 minutes, they listed the codes as "Out of Stock". One member ran away with 5100 points.
@-Xehanort: but sony already do this within the Playstation Store... insofar as everything uses real world pricing....
That said this does mean it'd be much easier to buy stuff from other regions paying with paypal (as you cannot pay for american content with a British card for example). And that sounds good to me!
@exion: A lot more people trust amazon to not lead to overcharging, or full-blown identity theft. I don't have any problem with Sony, but I've heard horrible things about Nintendo and Microsoft (especially MS).
@josephbloseph: yeah... my flatmate paid for a years subscription for a friend of his as a birthday present... one year later it renewed the subscription without warning so he called up microsoft's support line, they not only refused to cancel the subscription (fair enough I suppose), but they refused to remove his details from his friends account.
His friend is currently spending the year in India so the subscription will go to waste, plus he can't remove the details from the 360.
Feasibly this means that if you sell your 360 and you forget to remove your card details from your account then there's nothing you can do to stop consecutive payments. boo!

unless it's any cheaper this doesn't make a difference to me.

I'm hoping that they do this with Sony, as well.
Nintendo would also be a plus.
