It all makes perfect sense, except the TV model number. I have an older 32" SDTV which I can't just move about to read the label on the back, so I ended up entering "don't know".
The good news was the speedtest results: over 75mbit/s down and over 46mbit/s up.

So, yeah, I originally thought the Facebook & Twitter integration on 360 would be a neat feature, but if I'm not going to be legitimately using the 360 until next year, regularly, then I have no need to test the services. Best to leave it to people who actually will. No offense to Twit or Face, because I use both :)

I don't even use my 360 in what I'd consider heavy gaming. It just so happened that every time I went to use it for gaming, whaddya know, a pretty red ring.

Now if they had said improvements to the dashboard, like quicker loading speed and so on, i'd be right on board.

Yeah, I know, I guess I'm a horrible person for thinking that Microsoft giving my console extra features that I don't have to pay a dime for may not be a bad thing. I do understand that making you have gold for this may be annoying, but I don't see how you DON'T have gold already anyways.....the 360 pretty much revolves around the service.
