A while back we mentioned that Battle Fantasia - which has been available on PS3 and arcade in Japan - was coming stateside for Xbox 360. If (like me) you've been having the urge to kick the the crap out of each other using quirkly looking characters, you're in luck. You can now go to your local retailer and snag a copy. In the meantime for your viewing pleasure we got a brand spanking new launch trailer. New Screens after the jump.

<![CDATA[ 60GB 360 Hits UK August 15th ]]> Microsoft has formally announced the coming of the 60GB Xbox 360 in the UK. This Friday the 15th, 20GB models will be being replaced with the larger models across the board, with the price remaining at the now rather modest £199.99. The announcement of course came with the obligatory hooray, go Xbox! statement.
"No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver and we know consumers need increasingly more and more space to store the amazing digital entertainment content we provide" said regional director Neil Thompson "Now the Xbox 360 has triple the space to house all your entertainment needs at no extra cost."

Folks who purchased one of the 20GB systems recently are welcome to start kicking themselves just a little bit harder now.

<![CDATA[ Mass Effect Soundtrack On Sale Tomorrw ]]> While some of you may be excited to play Mass Effect, others of you will be too poor or not own Xbox 360s. For you we have a consolation prize. It's called salt in the wound the Mass Effect Soundtrack. Featuring over an hour of music from the original score, Jack Wall (Myst IV, Sam Hulick (Maximo), Richard Jacques (The Club, Jet Set Radio) and David Kates (Battlestar Galactica) all teamed up to produce a soundtrack modeled after Blade Runner and Dune. We're not the types to blast soundtracks on our nonexistent commute to work, but there's no question that the game's music is incredible. It'll be just about everywhere tomorrow for the price of a standard album.
