    Hey, it's the first FPS-style game that you _CAN'T_LOSE_. Sure, you only get one life, but being that you're pretty much immortal (just wait a bit for your body to knit itself back together again), that's not really a big issue.

    Given that it's simpler do you think it can have the same appeal and benefit the game as it's missing the backdrop of the Greek gods!


    I think the the Marvel license has it's own benefit but I think Marvel and I think "another licensed game" so when I hear simple, it doesn't usually carry a good connotation to it.


    ...I'm off to read the story though to get more info.

    @reyrey: There's actually only a handful of decent movie-adaptations. Only in recent years has there been a push for more quality. For every Goldeneye you'll get E.T., Total Recall and who knows what else.


    Hopefully though this may be different. Raven Software are good developers, and most people enjoyed the other Marvel titles (the X-Men Legends and Ultimate Alliance games).

    @Klemmins: Wasn't the Ghost Rider game heavily influenced on God of War? As I remember correctly, Ghost Rider the game was rated poorly. It was almost like a reskin hashed up God of War. I always have the benefit of the doubt in handy. It is especially needed to influence my life during the recession. Lets look at the bright side of the recession though, Cheaper houses!

    @CanadianCowboy: thats because literally every action game tries to be like god of war, but it's just not the same without the black guy covered in ashes, whoring minigames, "good enough" dialogue, awesome action scenes, cool combos, and boss fights ending with an extremely over the top finisher move with button commands. so technically, no kratos means it's nowhere near god of war.
