But can we make custom worm voices? Custom playing fields? Those were my favorite parts of the ol' PC version! I don't think I can survive reliving only half the nostalgia, without Space Ghost and friends chirping jolly nonsequitirs at me. I even created several myself out of my favorite bands/anime of the time, never to share them with the outside world. Gah! This is torturous!

Would it be just me to feel like I got hosed by getting the Worms already available on Live Arcade now that this is coming out. Dammit, they should have made this an expansion to the game already out, consumer confusion FTL.

@Archaotic: I'm sure the server is empty a good amount of time. You can take initiative by idling for a few minutes or just post on Xbox.com to get a game going. I've played doing that plus just checking in and seeing someone looking for a game.

@Gorilla Snow is hot for Snorlax: Would sound fun and almost possible were it not for the release of SFIV. :^)

Why does Microsoft get new installments in awesome series while Sony gets completely new games (mostly)?

And why can't I make up which I'd rather have?

Can't we meet middleground and release a bunch of games like this on PSN as well? Bomberman Ultra (or whatever it was called) which is taking forever to get to the PSN despite being the exact same game as on Live is a good start.

A Worms title is coming to the PSN as well. According to Team17, they're going all-out with it, since there is no size limit for PSN games. It's supposed to have a lot more content than the original XBLA game. I'm starting to think that this is what they meant.

@ShadowOdin a.k.a. Kinjinson: Well, it mainly comes from the feel of each service.

XBLA is meant for short, sometimes classic, bursts of fun when you don't feel like playing a retail game.

PSN games are, well, unexplainable. It's a nice outlet for artsy games.

If you have both consoles, then damn, you're in heaven.

@Gorilla Snow is hot for Snorlax: Live Marketplace is almost enough for me to get a 360, since I am not that interested in many retail-games. I mean, they get Virtual-ON which I hear much good about, and the best re-releases PSN has i Puzzle Fighter HD and Mortal Kombat II

It's nice to have Worms games, but really (as a 360 owner) I'd rather have Flower and the Pixel Junk junk than reboots of Sonic, Street Fighter 2 and Worms. Not that XBLA is devoid of innovation; Braid was class.

@LeadNinja: Of course, I would too, but I feel a bit robbed when one of Sony's sellingpoints was selling old PSX-games for the PSP and PS3, yet they are the systems with the least downloadable old classics
