    Nintendo..........freaking geniuses.


    Their games cost little to zero to develop considering the "graphics" used, most of these games have little depth, and marketed perfectly towards the use something for a week and get rid of it demographic.


    Most people here may hate their new direction, but I highly doubt they care one bit.

    Look at the water, it's simply beautiful. And the character model? Superb. I think it's safe to say this is the best looking game this generation.


    I'd like to see Sony and their retarded, disc based GayStation try that! Don't even get me started on the Saturn.

    This is actually pretty cool. I hope it controls well because using the balance board seems like a really fun way to play this game.

    That's a nifty rendering tech. See how Little Mac's transparent but we can't see his left arm through his head? He must be rendered separately and made transparent afterwards.

    @rich8606: You can also turn on depth buffering and render the polygons from front to back (closest to the camera to furthest).


    Speaking of rendering, I wonder why Glass Joe has thick black lines around him but nothing else does. It looks kind of disjointed.

    @imikedaman: Trying to emulate anime look maybe. still backgrounds in cartoon used to be water-painted, they don't need outlines cuz they're not animated. This practice continues today, even with toon shader/cel shader tech.

    I don't have a Balance Board but I thought it was a cool idea. Glad they're trying it.


    Also, up to 16 boxers. Awesome. Wonder if we'll ever see Pizza Pasta again? Disco Kid is like a new Kid Quick I guess so maybe.

    @Ueziel: I'm concerned about the status of Soda Popinski. They'll obviously not go back to the name Vodka Drunkenski but I wonder if Soda Popinski is now considered too politcally Incorrect.


    Then again, you can literally beat the croissants out of Glass Joe so I may be worried over nothing.
