Which is a pain in the ass because I played this at a friend's house on the weekend and it is good.
So now I'm stuck with the decision of whether to plog the Wii back in for just this game, or to continue dropping by my friend's house and play it there. #newsupermariobroswii

The system is cool, doesn't touch my PS3 though. Everything seems so archaic.

My only complaint is how your characters can bounce off of each other and into obstacles/enemies/crevaces, but I think that's more that we need to get used to it than some inherent flaw in the design. The castle worlds are particularly frustrating at times, becuase you're usually ascending up and up and if someone gets left behind or falls they'll die. The power ups shooting in both directions off the "?" blocks is also a little frustrating at times. I also don't really understand why it keeps track of continues ... maybe just to have one more reason to play through (although I haven't actually died off yet, it was my partner).
But overall it's still awesome. As much fun as MP is, I'm really looking forward to playing through by myself and looking for every little secret. #newsupermariobroswii

The new items actually have some use comparred to those introduced in NSMB on the DS.
And there's a good amount of unintentional humor. Mostly from Yoshi's sound effects and the Toad voices. #newsupermariobroswii

(sorry about the huge full size image, for some reason the CG wiki seems to use huge images for things like simple flag?)

It's a very good game, which surprised me. I was expecting the same easy, colorful crap that was NSMB for DS, was instead treated with a game that actually has good level design and parts that feel very much Mario. As this game goes, it's still easier than SMW, but harder than SMB3. Which is good, because maybe Nintendo is finally going to come around and start making games that require skill again. However, that didn't stop me from blindly leaping into pits and lava. It's even more satisfying this time around to watch him DIE. #newsupermariobroswii

I think I just like the idea of having a princess doll, and the novelty of that doll being Peach. #newsupermariobroswii
