    I went to Gamestop this morning hoping for the PC version of L4D2 for 30 bucks, as well as MySims Agents for the Wii for 20 bucks for my gf, and they had neither game. Thanks for those great Black Friday specials! (BTW I was in the store at 6 when they opened. They didn't have them to begin with, it wasn't that they were sold out.)

    I enjoyed Umbrella chronicles much more than I thought I would. Although the bosses did my head in. I won't front: they handed me arse to me many a time!

    I harbour a deep amount of love for Resident evil 2 (giant alligator attack and all ;P), but I'm not feeling the same desire to get the Darkside chronicles as I did the first game. Probably because I know it's just going to be more of the same, and I want more than that.

    It's a real shame Capcom STILL haven't included online play. That would have been something that might have swayed me more into getting this game. Because frankly, when my friends and I get together - we don't really tend to sit and play games. And on the occasions we do, we stick on a beat 'em up.

    It'll be interesting to see how Capcom handle the Code: Veronica scenario's. Given Claire and Steve were rarely ever together in the game, and the only hint of the two of them having 'something' was when [SPOILER!!!!!] Steve died.

    Anyone who would actually take offense to Capcom's chastising these crusty old bastards wasn't going to buy the game anyway. All it does is up the controversy dial, which in turn translates to more hype with the fanbase. They like things like this.

    Ha, it'd be awesome if a follow up sequel to Wind Waker is all about sky pirates and whatnot. Then again, I could just play Skies of Arcadia...

    Skipped Black Friday completely this year for the first time. I didn't even drop by a store at noon to see if there was anything. All the deals weren't anything worth getting up for (at least the ones I could see getting).

    I ordered Arkham Asylum on Target through Amazon for their BF price of $37. It's sold out and they said they'd ship it out whenever they have it in stock, but I'm not sure if they'll honor the sale. Eh, I'll see how it works out. I'm kinda pissed I completely missed the Arkham-Asylum-for-$30 deal, but it's just a few bucks. Not a big deal.

    Yeah...pretty uneventful day, which is weird because they're usually pretty hectic. It's just that these deals have been getting progressively worse and at this point there's really no point in getting up at really early hours in the morning for 90% of them, but whatever.

    Found Battlefield Bad Company at Wal Mart for $10, can't believe how I've waited so long to play this gem. The BC2 beta definitely got me hankering for the first's singleplayer.

    Also, I think Wal Mart has the best PS3 bundle I've seen yet: $300 for PS3 Slim packaged with Infamous, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and The Dark Knight on Blu-ray.

    @spiderweb1986: It's worth it if it has a good community behind it. I played the XBLA demo and while the single player was extremely dull, I can see it being fun in multiplayer. The problem is that, at least on the console side of things, on-line game communities come and go so quickly. I bought into Rocket Riot, but it's a ghost town now, and I suspect Madballs will suffer the same fate if it hasn't already.

    @Kobun: If it's this cheap on Steam, that should give it a community for at least a little while.

    Besides, it's $2. Even in my current broke-ass state, I can afford that. :D

    I've found some really good deals today -- found a couple rare games in those Sears multipacks that are one sale.

    Amazon has the new Dragonball game for $29.99 for the PS3, Sacred 2 for the same, L4D2 for $39.99, ODST is $29.99 right now, Borderlands PC for $19.99, Tekken 6 for $32 ... and this morning, The World Ends With You was only $9.99!

    @Friedhamster: Tools of Destruction (for anyone that hasn't, for some bonkers reason, gotten it yet) was on a lightning deal not long after L4D for $15 I think.

    They also had Killzone cheap a few days ago, along with Dragon Age at one point for a significantly reduced price.

    Didn't seem shabby to me, but I didn't end up getting any of them either.

    @shaunmcilroy: i was tempted to buy it but considering i already bought it on the pc and the xbox, im more tempted to pirate it. I mean it deserves to be bought again but i just can't seem to find my credit card.
