    @D-K, stubbed his toe..*swears*: If you're interested in this game, I'd assume you like 2-D platformers which would mean you'd probably also enjoy Klonoa, Masumura, A Boy and His Blob, and probably Contra Rebirth. I like the Wii because of those and it having a good amount of Sega titles. #newsupermariobroswii

    What, no Super Mario Shasta? Where's the Mario Punch, the Luigi Berry?!

    They're all saying "look inside" because there was something printed on the bottom of the inside of the can. I forget what, maybe a contest or something (this was, like, fifteen years ago), but if you're that curious you can probably find some empty cans on eBay.

    @bakana: Actually, I think the only original flavor in there is Luigi Berry... The rest were just repackagings of normal Shasta flavors. Princess Toadstool Cherry is just Black Cherry Shasta without the dark-colored dye. #newsupermariobroswii

    @Chesu: Hmmm... At the time I had no idea what 'Shasta' was, much less that the Nintendo pops were released by it. Actually, I still have no idea what 'Shasta' is. It must not be a big fixture in NE Ohio or Pennsylvania, and checking the website, they don't have an apple flavor anymore...

    So, once again, thank heavens for Jones Apple soda! #newsupermariobroswii

    Er... not sure if this has been pointed out, but it's not "Nintendo's World Store" or just "World Store"... it's Nintendo World. I thought the headline looked odd, and had no idea what it even meant at first. It makes no sense without the "Nintendo" in front of it. It's kind of like calling Mario Galaxy "Galaxy Game" or "Mario's Galaxy Game".

    You *can* call it "Nintendo World store", but the "store" is not part of the name - the name of the place is really just Nintendo World. #newsupermariobroswii

    That much is obvious.

    The Wii has double the hardware sales of either the 360 or PS3. Keeping in mind that this is a first party Nintendo title - if not the consoles flagship franchise - then the smart money has always been with Nintendo keeping true to their promise. #newsupermariobroswii

    @Knoxximus ver. 5.66: That I have no doubt. Nintendo titles continue selling for a long time while even the biggest of other titles tend to drop off a fair bit after the first month or 2. Hell I honestly wouldn't even be suprised if someday, lifetime sales were more than MW2 on all platforms combined. Reggie's challenge however was to beat 1 platform by the end of the January sales period. That could be a little trickier. I wouldn't be suprised if that one went either way though to be honest. #newsupermariobroswii

    After watching the quick look at Giantbomb [www.giantbomb.com] , I'm actually thinking it has a chance. 4-player looks awesome, they do some really neat stuff, and the game actually looks fun with all the secret level stuff and unlockables.

    Now if only Nintendo would pull the thumb out of their asses and make online co-op + voice chat a standard with games like this... #newsupermariobroswii

    @n00b_pwner: If any other Mario game is a guide, it'll keep selling for years. If any other Call of Duty game is a guide, MW2 will stop selling sometime around next November.

    Agree with most points- though I still hate the music. They've traded in nice, melodic tunes in favor of FX driven...drivel, which become annoying after the 10th time you've heard that "ha ha" sample (you'll know it when you hear it). They basically took the music from NSMB DS, which is a pretty saddening idea. There also isn't really that much variety- while there never has been much variety within a Mario (platform) game music wise (save for the 3d titles), some of the music is just a cop-out. You'll notice it when you get to the Snow World (no spoilers there), they take the lame road and just add sleigh bells over the standard music you've been hearing from the start. Really? Is that the best you could do?

    I pine for the days when music was limited to hardware synthesis and not sample-based buggery- the composers seemed to care more about making a good tune than tossing in sounds that only appear in cartoons. #newsupermariobroswii
